I'm sure you're pretty comfortable with that look by now.

It has nothing to do with comfort. He has a reputation to uphold.

this isn't a JJ/JL thread though. Its a JJ got invited to the combine news thread

And the "Thanks Jarrett Lee" ad in the Advocate didn't say a word about Jefferson, but it brought out the JL vs JJ debate once again.

This much is for certain, if the Raider players/fans can still gripe about the "tuck rule", LSU fans aren't anywhere close to ending the JJ/JL debates.

You're right.
We should have ignored our QB making it into the combine.

Have I said that I think he shouldn't be at the combine? I haven't made a single comment on Jefferson's chances of being drafted by the NFL.

I'm just amused by the topic.

That ad used lee as a pawn. It was as much a slap in the face to him as it was to the rest of the players and the coaches. I would feel the exact same way no matter who the player was, unless it was signed by friends and/or family. The ad was tasteless.

I wonder how pissed these posters are going to be when he grades out very well at the combine.

Close. Actually, I am pretty fricking awesome at presenting my case in court.

Thanks.

So were Seneca Wallace, Brad Smith, Eric Crouch, and Matt Jones. The easy explanation is that they think he can play a position that doesn't require him to throw the ball. Otherwise, I'm at a complete loss as to why anyone would want to see him as a QB.

ABSOLUTELY TASTELESS. As is the Krewe of Zeus. This team won as a team and lost as a team. The small minority of fans cannot fathom that.

"Tasteless"= "I didn't like it and cannot explain why on the basis of objective criteria..."

Wondering how well his interviews will go. I'm sure the NFL scouts will be salivating after meeting him in the one on one's.

Also, Predicting a complete Rant meltdown if his Wonderlic score gets released. 40 pages minimum.

Jefferson performed very poorly in the national championship game.

It has been said several times that he was decent, if not good student, so he probably won't threaten Vince Young's marks. That said, someone can be smart, but not quick, and seeing how slowly he processed things on the field would appear to put him in that group.
