re: Question I haven't seen asked about the e-mail situation - LJBurton
I have to assume that it has come up somewhere at some point. However, I haven't seen such so I will pose it here. Who in the HELL sends/receives 31,000+ PERSONAL e-mails about things like yoga routines, loved one's funeral arrangements, and daughter's wedding plans in the course of a few...

re: I lost some respect for Megyn Kelly last night - LJBurton
republicans are supporting this guy almost complelty on the fact that he brought up illegal immigration in a racist tirade
Completely disagree. It has NOTHING to do with race. In my view, Trump's support is a combination of his celebrity and the silent majority's disdain for ...

re: Did FOX news lose its credibility last night? - LJBurton
Fox went all in last night to take down Trump, and it was very, very obvious. Every question put him in a completely defensive position. That said, he didn't do himself any favors. I thought he came off looking completely unpresidential and unelectable. I still love that he is tapping into the a...

re: I lost some respect for Megyn Kelly last night - LJBurton
Megyn was terrible last night. I'm generally a fan of hers and her show, but she looked completely out of place. The brass needs to tell her that debates are about the candidates not the moderators. ...

re: New Orleans Jesters 2015 Season Thread - LJBurton
lsu31always
Appreciate the reply. Any issues with getting several seats together ... perhaps as many as 10 if another family comes along? How early should we get there? Anything interesting happening pre-game? Thanks for the info....

re: New Orleans Jesters 2015 Season Thread - LJBurton
Am planning on taking my kids to game on 6/13. Will be my first Jesters game. Am I correct in assuming seats are General Admission? Anything special for the kids I need to be aware of? Hoping some Jester regulars can help me out. ...

re: Bring on Coach Cal - LJBurton
Hell no on Coach Cal. His strengths do not translate at all to the NBA. You can't recruit/buy your way to the NBA title....

re: I am constantly and sincerely upset about the death of Gram Parsons - LJBurton
Great thread with some great links. Got into Gram about the same time I picked up the guitar, so I ended up gravitating to the songs that I found easiest to play -- Blue Eyes and A Song for You were two of my favorites. Continental Drifters did a great cover of the latter. ...

Terrible segment. Total waste of time. Seemed a bit of an F U to Scalise for turning them down. It certainly didn't do Scalise any favors. ...

re: Has the clock officially started ticking on CLM - LJBurton
Next year appears to be make or break. Chavis not wanting to be tied to Miles would lead me to believe that the clock is definitely ticking. Looks like Alleva is on a two year plan, which will likely be at least one year too late....

re: How would Miles do in the NFL? - LJBurton
Les Miles wins on talent. He would not succeed when coaching where the parity is so high.
While this thread is obviously 100% about speculation and opinion. This is the most correct answer IMO. Miles has succeeded at LSU in large part because the teams he has fielded have had a ...

re: Rank the Current College Football Coaches: - LJBurton

re: What did LSU fans think about Miles back on 2 January 2005? - LJBurton
I knew very little about him, so I had no opinion. After watching the first few games, I was VERY concerned. I mean ..... Who tries to stop an already stopped clock? ...

re: What did Michigan do wrong with Rich Rod? - LJBurton
50% no support, 50% not enough time given due to that lack of support. State of the program was so bad that the next guy was going to need a few years to get the right talent and depth back to where it needed to be. Rich Rod is a proven winner and has had success everywhere he has been absent Mich...
Won't be popular, but Tubbs is a decent coach. He's too old to hire at this point, though. I said Bobby P a few months ago and was practically run off the board.
I think both Tubberville and Petrino would absolutely crush it at LSU, and I am quite convinced that either guy would ta...

re: If you're Alleva, you have to be working scenarios if Miles leaves... - LJBurton
Any AD worth his salt should always have a line or two in the water. You always need a short list of guys who you KNOW would take the job if the timing was right. That said, I have no confidence that Alleva is worth his salt....

re: Miles' broken offensive philosophy solved - LJBurton
Your questions restate my position......maybe Rettig was a pain in the ass, punk, etc. Who knows, but there are reasons for the way a major college program develops that are not apparent to the untrained eye. We, as fans, are primarily based in absolutes of why things should/should not happen...
