Yeah that’s the only problem area. I generally don’t trust myself to mess with plumbing but if it’s on the outside of the door i could do that on the outside of the curb. Damnit what a pain!...

Yeah it doesn’t seem like the ideal material for that wear and tear/moisture especially if it wasn’t sealed properly. The previous owner of the house put it in years ago. Just hoping it can be a somewhat small fix rather than a $10k redo of the entire shower. ...

I've noticed the slate tile covering my shower curb/threshold is disintegrating on the exterior of the shower. None of the slate seems to be deteriorating on the inside of the shower, only on the outside below where the glass door opens and shuts. Any tips?...
