Eh I hate saying the refs had that big of an outcome on a game but they really did last night. It's hard to play tough defense when you know that the slightest touch is a foul call and if you're worried about fouling out. That being said, the refs in the NCAA tournament are soooooooo much better than the shite you see during the season.

1) you are arguing that a 118th ranked non conference schedule is not terrible?

2) I've said injuries matter several times, including where you quoted me two quotes down, then appeared to agree with me (angrily; must be near feeding time).

3) you were the person bringing up point spreads of losses in regulation.

No one on this site is on the committee. You don't have to convince us. You can look at how the committee looks at injuries and close losses in terms of both positives and negatives. I'm not sure who you are trying to convince.

4) I AGREE BUT I'M MAD TOO!!! Rabble rabble rabble

There are 351 teams in Division 1 basketball. So we were in the upper 1/3...not terrible

Yes, in which we were missing 25 points of scoring on average per game. I'm not sure what is hard to comprehend about that, but you're struggling mightily.

Again, what are you saying? I'm arguing a specific argument...that the committee will take into account injuries. Never...not once, has any one said it doesn't matter we lost those 4 games. But you said from the get go injuries didn't matter...then said it does kind of matter but we still lost...then said Vandy was missing a player when we beat them so obviously it matters. I'm not trying to convince anyone, I'm using statements from the biggest and best basketball analysts in the country to prove i'm right (which I'm doing), only to have others (like yourself) say I'm wrong because...well, you just think so.

Again, like Chopique said...it's hard to have decent arguments around here because people are childish

people still insisting on misrepresenting what i say. quote where i said lunardi is dumb. all i said is that he has consistently been the extreme exception having the tigers much higher than pretty much anybody else. i also never said lsu won't make the tourney. SHOCKER

We also added another top 50 road win last night. Alabama jumped into the top 50 with that win over A&M
according to the ncaa right now, lsu has zero top 50 road wins. can't believe we're still haven't gotten this cleared up.

Well that kind of depends on what RPI you use. I could easily say Alabama is a top 50 team

camp, i know this might come as a surprise but, warren nolan is not the ncaa. you can complain about "updated" all you want but, the ncaa site has today's date and neither vandy nor bama are in the top 50. i understand that might change but i'm willing to bet none of us knows for sure where bama will be when it does. but as of right now, it is misleading to say that lsu added "another" top 50 road win.

NCAA's RPI website:

They have Alabama's record as: 13-9

Alabama's actual record is: 14-9

incidentally, espn's bpi, who has been higher on lsu than pretty much anyone, has lsu finishing outside the tourney. i find it interesting that no one from the crew has mentioned that.

as i said last night, the scar game didn't kill lsu's chances. it just narrowed the margin of error more. the tigers still have multiple avenues for making the tourney.

Well it doesn't count non D1 games, so that's possible

But I find it hard to believe that Bama went from 56 to 58 after beating a top 20 RPI team

i can't believe you're rehashing this idiotic conversation. i'm telling you what the number is right now. i'm sorry you don't like it. you have no idea what bama's number is going to be when it gets updated again. but keep lying that lsu has multiple top 50 road wins and please keep ignoring all the sites that "look" amateurish that don't have lsu in the tourney.

moreover, bama was not in the top 50 when lsu beat them. in fact, they were in a pretty major slump. but no one ever accused the cult of dealing with the facts.
