according to LSUsports.net, JLee entered the game with 8:06 in the 3rd left.
So you're telling me a quarter is 16:12 now? When did that change? Kidding...I was just clarifying that although nearly half the quarter was gone, LSU was still on their first possession of that half. So he could have reached the "magical 200" (it almost seems like magic now). It wasn't like they had a few 3 and outs or anything in the 2nd half before he got hurt... That's all I was saying.

No, I'm telling you that 48% of the qtr was gone when JJ left the game. And JJ had thrown for a grand total of only 9 yds in that qtr

Sorry Mr. Jefferson. I am sorry I, and a significant portion of the rest of TS believe your son is a mediocre QB that is the weak link on this team.

and hopefully that one will return soon...
I hope not because this newer version can read defenses, audible, checkoff, and go through progressions. Plus his passes were on the money.

If JJ is the weak link and the starter, then what is JL?

Very classy post!! I hope this makes you feel good.

I don't think calling him a weak link on a team that would probably otherwise win a national championship with a good QB not classy. It's the truth. The only time ESPN even talks about LSU is to say he isn't cutting it.

Okay...then why isn't JL the starter then? Is it some sort of sinister plot to keep him off the field by the coaching staff? And if JJ is the weak link, what is JL?
Posted on 9/24/10 at 11:19 pm to Dead Fish
I didn't say shite about JL, if he plays then I will comment on him.
Posted on 9/24/10 at 11:20 pm to Billder
It's nothing personal, but if you read a few Dead Fish posts (and they smell about like his screen name) you would swear his (son, cousin, Godchild, next door neighbor) JJ is the next coming of Drew Brees.
He is the weak link on this team. End of story.

JLee being the back-up doesnt make JJ any better of a QB. You do understand that, right?
If JLee transfers at some point, does that suddenly make JJ one of the worst QBs in the nation? Now do you see why ppl say you're a horrible poster? Defending JJ by putting down another player, only makes JJ look worse.
You should be defending JJ against the other SEC starting QBs. oh wait...
Now I see why you're doing it. deflect, deflect, deflect.

It's the only reason I could think of someone defending him. To make things worse they have to cut down someone who took one snap this season. It's like parents who never think their child does anything wrong. I really didn't expect much from this years team but the rest of the team seems to be pretty solid except him. Nothing against him, he may play great tomorrow but he just hasn't been good this season.

I love people bashing Jefferson and giving Crowton a complete pass for being one of, if not the worst offensive coordinators in college football.
And, I'll ask again, someone please show me one single QB that has prospered under Gary Crowton's Read Option offense.
See, I'm not so much of a pro-Jefferson guy or pro-Lee guy as I'm an anti-Crowton guy. So long as he's at LSU and he's running his system, we won't have a productive offense or QB.

Maybe if we had kept Hatch we would have someone who could understand the playbook.

isn't jefferson in his 3rd year as a starter?
he is ranked 96th out of 116 qbs. he has 3 5* WR's, plays in the shotgun.
it's as if he is getting worse the longer he plays.
At least he is better than Boo Jackson @ Ohio.

Is it? Are you done talking about it? Most, including myself, agree with your view. I just think it sucks we have to beat this dead horse. He is the best we have. He is who we have. Bashing an amateur athlete, that is working his arse off, is pretty weak.
I don't understand the motivations of LSU "fans" that spend their time trying to convince other LSU fans that JJ sucks.

It's not bashing. It's a discussion board and it's someones opinion. Quit contributing to the pussification of America. I guess you think everyone should get trophies too?

No no...that's not what you said. You said 2.5 quarters. Now, would that .5 = 48% or 50% of a quarter? Ahhh, that's right - 50%. So you would still be incorrect. Dude, I said I was kidding...lighten up.
