Jefferson threw five 200+ yard passing games against BCS opponents in 2009.

Miss. State . . 233
Georgia . . . . . 212
Auburn . . . . . .242
Ole Miss . . . . 250
Penn State . . .202

Why do some people think that he won't throw a 200+ yard passing game this year?

whats normal for an option offense? not that we run it very well, but it seems our game plan is not to throw it for more than 250.

i know people that visit the lSU practices and swear JJ is righ on target from 20 yards to 50 yards. I think He freezes during regular season games .

He's been accurate down the field this year, we just don't throw it long that often.

I would really like to see how he and Lee would perform in a normal offense not being run by the worst offensive coordinator in college football.

Miss. State (5-7, no bowl)
Georgia (7-5, Independence bowl)
Auburn (7-5, Outback bowl)
Ole Miss (8-4, Cotton bowl)
Penn State (1st bowl loss ever under Miles)

Those are games we lost or were trailing, so many of those yards were picked up against prevent defenses. Not exactly an outstanding resume. I notice you purposefully left out:

Washington - 172 yards (5-7, no bowl)
Vandy - 138 yards (2-10, no bowl)
ULL - 165 yards (6-6, no bowl)
Fla - 96 yards (11-1, SECGC, Sugar bowl)
Tul - 163 yards (3-9, no bowl)
Ark - 179 yards (7-5, Liberty Bowl)

So against non-bowl qualifiers he averages only 174 yards per game. Against BCS bowl qualifiers he averages under 100 yards per game.

He was knocked out in the middle of the third quarter in one of those games and had 115 yards. So technically he averaged over 100 against BCS qualifiers.

Please remove your head from your arse. At least for a minute.

We were never losing or trailing to Auburn.

The only passing yards against a prevent defense were against Ole Miss and a few against Penn State.

Are you intentionally being a moron? I listed the five 200+ yard passing games in 2009. Read the title of the thread and the first post.

No. He didn't. He average over 100+ per game. It's just that you're to ignorant or lazy to do the research. The amount of fail in your post is unparalleled.

because he is only throwing the ball about 15 times a game and we are a run first offense and if the run game is working there is no way in hell that they will let him throw, easy as that.

At auburn he threw for 242 2TDs ran 30+ with a TD. Run game had 129 all night. 67 came from 1 run by Shep when the game was out of hand.

Threw for over 200 at Ole Miss before hitting the HM at the end when h was nailed as he threw it(how do people think u get to 300, u have to throw a few 30-40yd passes or throw a hell of a lot).Run game had about 70yrds only.

Threw for 233 2TDs against MSU and run game could only amass 30yds on 31 carries.

At Arky lead team down field for game tying FG.

At Penn St WRs had ridiculous number of drops and he also led them down the field but fat billy in the blue and white laid on our lineman and wasted time on clock. He is at his best in no huddle. Oh the run game only had about 60yds rushing.

If they let him loose tomorrow, you'll see.
