With the game on the line, there is NO way that LSU can trust that OBJ will catch the pass or make a play.
You mean like inside 4 minutes left on 3rd down in your own territory when OBJ caught that back shoulder throw 20 yards with a DB all up on him? Ok

JL has better and stronger hands, OBJ has better speed and sometimes goes for the homerun instead of making the catch. Both are great. We need a 3rd receiver to step up and its over.

Mauling did not affect Dural. He just missed that ball. He never had it. He was hit after the lost it.
IMO you are on crack. One thing about Beckham though he missed a big one, he made some great catches, broke up an interception on the only bad throw Mett made, and he beat double coverage all night.

Jarvis Landry is far and away the best WR LSU has,
I think it could be time to recognize juice as our top wideout, but far and away, NO.

I've watched Beckham for 2+ years now and, while he is very good on special teams, he is below average as a WR with the ball in the air. He just doesn't have the It Factor for playing the ball in the air, adjusting, being aggressive, jockeying for position with the DB, catching at its highest point, etc. And in general he has average hands.
The point was made earlier that beckham seems to struggle with the deep ball. 100% agree. its almost as if he is flat-footed, and the ball dances in the air when attempting to run full speed and make an over the shoulder play (athletes understand).

I think Dural will start to be a major player in the passing game at the expense of Beckham.
lol no. while dural is serviceable, kid still has a ways to go. Even with his flaws beckham is a stud and will only grow under cameron.

To be fair, Beckham was shaky last year and against TCU.
But yeah this is a pretty embarrassing bump

Not sure if you're the op, but 3 was shaky in game 1. Obvious better game tonight is obvious.

But, right now after him there is a big dropoff, and yes that includes Odell Beckham.
You're way overthinking this. Crack is clearly involved
