Anyone have a video clip of this?

if any other team did that to us, in the exact same circumstances, this board would be alight with condemnation.
If a player from another team did that against us, I’d be pissed in the moment. Probably for the rest of the game. And then I would have forgotten about it after the game, especially if we had won.

Baseball's unwritten rules are akin to Aggie traditions: from the outside you can't understand them and from the inside you can't explain them.

UK players and coach are small.

He doesn't need to be suspended. But he does need to understand that he and the team can be penalized for cussing the ump after a called strike three or cussing the opposing pitcher after hitting a HR. That's the reality whether we like it or not.

That jersey is his. LSU asked him to come and play baseball. Hit two over the scoreboard as a 19 year old and then you can have an opinion.

They've basically done away with what this UK player did in the MLB. He became set before Jones was alert and aware in the box. That would be called a ball, in the MLB even if there was more than 0 seconds on the pitch clock. Max Scherzer basically forced the MLB to make this adjustment.
BTW if a pitcher starts his motion before the batter is ready and alert that would be a balk.
So what this guy did is not allowed in the MLB. May be legal in college ball but it's as said an unwritten rule in baseball, and now an actual rule in the MLB.

Y’all sound fricking retarded. Have any of you watched any MLB games with the pitch clock? This quick pitch shite is happening a half dozen times every game. People are going to have to get used to it

have you? Because a quick pitch should be called a ball in the MLB. At-least it was called that way in spring training.
here is a video explaining the new rule.

Why do people keep trying to compare everything to football? Notice how you talked about "unwritten rules" of baseball, but then proceeded to call anyone who had a problem with Jones a "**tch." Do you know how many people think it's stupid that there are unwritten rules in baseball, to begin with? Do football players get upset when the offense quick snaps? No, they might not like it, but they understand the offense is trying to catch them off guard.
There are different rules for different games, and different places. For instance, you might like people shouting at each other, but if you walk inside a normal establishment and start doing that, no one is going to "love it". They'll think you're a nutcase. So comparing completely different things to justify something, makes no sense. In football, they allow a lot of extra curricular things, but there are still limits. Taunting is absolutely called in football, if it goes over the top, right in front of an official. In baseball, not much is allowed, and he could have easily been tossed. You have to behave differently in baseball, whether you like it or not, there are some things you shouldn't be doing.
I could understand if he got thrown at, and then yelled at the pitcher after hitting a home run, or whatever. But that is a silly reaction to simply being quick pitched. I've seen hundreds of quick pitches, and that's the first time I've ever seen a batter lose his mind over it.

I love when old men tell college students that they should "be more classy".

My "old man", as people like to say, raised me to have class. It wasn't hard to adhere to his guidance. Telling people it's ok to act how you want, because you're not an old man, is exactly how people never learn, and then they become old men, and our country is "lead" by classless, selfish old men.

I'm old and I don't college students anything in particular. But whether old or young, virtues such as honor, decency, respect make society a better place.
