well frick your pussy face too. If it take vulgarity to obtain any sense of 'manliness' from you then eat shite.

The kid needs to learn how to act in public - especially when he is representing my alma mater. He is a magnificent athlete. I hope he continues to contribute to the team. I hope he becomes even greater than he is today.

I just hope he could be someone my great-grandsons could use as a role model - for his athletic ability, and his character instead of having to always explain away that 'he's just a kid' who has not been taught any manners.

I understand he is close to 20 years old. I dont know - but if true that is even worse. Be a gaddam MAN instead of a child trying to shoe how 'street-smart' he can be.

There is nothing at all wrong with enthusiasm - there is nothing at all wrong with trash talking.

There is EVERYTHING wrong with yelling frick YOU PUSSY on national television in a moment that everyone would love to show their children and grandchildren.

And to you pieces of shite who think this is just great - frick you right in the face.

There is a time and place for all of that kind of shite. The living rooms of thousands of loyal fans who want to celebrate with their children is not one of them

If you are too fricking dense and low-life trash to understand that -

Snagged quite a few downvotes for this post.

I hope all of you saw the Florida pitcher get TOSSED from the game for flexing after a strikeout. My post was simply this. Don’t cuss at the tv camera for kids to see, and don’t give the umps a reason to get “squirrelly”.

I don’t condone the umps action, but I would hate to lose a game because there is a crack down on celebrating.

I’m still pissed about Brad Wings’s penalty on the fake punt.

Nope. He’s just the one wearing it this year. There will be another young man representing the university with that number soon…perhaps even next year. He’s just passing through. The way that he represents that jersey will impact all others associated with it.

Again…I suppose you think it would be okay for him to talk that way at a press conference so long as he’s wearing “his” jersey?

Quick pitching is one of those unwritten no nos in the game of baseball. It’s a bush-league move. Doing it once during an AB is a bitch move, doing it twice on back-to-back pitches is straight up disrespectful. Think A-Rod screaming “I got it” on an infield pop up, but it gets dropped. Or, more fitting given UKs HC, screaming a base number to confuse a fielder in the midst of a crucial play in the game.

Naturally, Jones was bottling up some well justified anger given the scenario. To then get time granted by the ump and take the very next pitch (which the pitcher still tried to quick pitch him on) 453’ to dead center, the kid is naturally going to have an explosion of emotion and a feeling of vindication. We can debate whether the actions were appropriate (I loved it), but it’s no different than the shite everyone loves in football after big plays in big moments.

So all you bitching about his actions and saying shite like “he needs to be suspended”, kindly remove your tampon, and go frick yourself. Kid did nothing wrong.

Our team is cocky as hell and talks shite from the very beginning.

I mean this is from the tiger rant article I understand I’m an old man in need of running kids off my lawn, but college baseball has become like softball with all the dance routines and stuff they do

Agreed.

Of course, if you say it's kind of ridiculous to pimp a leadoff double in the first inning of a 0-0 game you send half the fanbase into hysterics.

The flexing by pitchers and yelling at pitchers by batters happens at all levels of baseball. But it tends to decrease the higher up the ladder you get. Generally for one reason. Players police themselves. If this were MLB or even the minor leagues, Jones would have eaten a 95 mph fastball in his next at bat. Or, if Kentucky couldn't afford to walk him the next time up, they would have drilled him the next time the two teams played. Of course, LSU and Kentucky aren't going to play again unless it is in the posteason.

For probably a number of reasons retribution just doesn't happen often in college baseball. If it did, you would probably see less flexing and posing (if you don't like it).

Kid has the right to say whatever. The question for me is for the fans. If you “loved it”, don’t bitch about Tennessee or any other program being classless. When it is our team we call it swagger, when it is an opponent these are classless bitches.

Wrong....Right now it's his. Not yours. He earned it. You did not. You're just posting anonymously on a forum, and he is actually playing baseball for the #1 LSU Tigers. And you are not. He did the work. You type. He is relevant. You are not. Fans are seeking his autograph. Not yours. There is a very good chance his face will cover millions of MLB baseball cards one day. Your face should be on a Bud Light can.

Why won’t you answer the question? It’s pretty simple, yet you won’t answer it.

Would it be okay for him to get behind the mic and say those words at an LSU presser while wearing that jersey?

You actually think cursing at a press conference and what he did are accurate comparisons?

I did not answer the question, because the question is profoundly stupid. There would be no reason, under the sun, why Bear would yell those words at a presser. There is, however, a reason to yell those words when a pitcher is quick-pitching him in a game, because the pitcher is too scared to pitch to him. Creating ridiculous scenarios where Bear would scream FYPFY is the weakest of arguments. Bear would not scream those words at a presser. Bear would not scream those words while ordering onion rings at Burger King. Bear would not scream those words while taking a Biology test. Are you beginning to realize how moronic your argument is when you apply what was said outside the realm of the game?

As for the obsession with Bear and his jersey, he will be wearing that #22 today. He will wearing it for some time to come. He will be representing the #1 LSU Tigers in all its' glory, and your only recourse is to type.

I contend he would if they forgot to place his onion rings in the bag....that's not having it your way and deserves a "F YOU!"

No, but there are a lot of things that wouldn't be appropriate to say in a press conference that wouldn't warrant a suspension if said during the course of play in a game. Do you really want to go down this slippery slope because we can certainly talk about the thousands of profanities yelled by coaches and players during pretty much every sporting event on earth. In reality, the only reason what Jones said is an issue is because there was a camera on his face where you can read his lips. Otherwise, this isn't a story at all.

The stupidity here is amazing. Again, it is never appropriate to yell F**k You Pussy at any opposing player ever during a fricking baseball game. Period. The Florida player being ejected is completely different. He flexed for a second and should have maybe gotten a warning. No different than a fist pump if you ask me but no way close to "F**k You Pussy". We can see who the immature dweebs are just by the statements on here. LOL. I'm not angry he did it I am just saying there was no need for it. The home run spoke for itself. And if you think that people who don't agree with what he did never competed in sports then you are a bigger idiot than I thought.

Is it ok during a football game? Because I can assure you much worse is said on almost every single play.
