So if the Kentucky pitcher yelled F**k You at Crews after striking him out it's just his competitive juices. Yeah right. And everyone here would understand. I'm not saying jones should be suspended are anything like that but you can't be yelling F**k You at anyone during a game.

Most teams would kill to have Bear on the roster. The Kentucky pitcher created this situation, and the kid learned the hard way. Quick-pitching a future first round draft choice has consequences. Anyone who thinks Bear should be suspended should stop watching sports.

Killing people to take what you want is also human nature. What you’re seeing in Chicago right now is human nature. Suppressing human nature to accommodate others is civilization. Giving in to it inappropriately is barbarism.
Most of us who disagree with what Jones did, understand why he was angry. It’s still bad behavior, and if any other team did that to us, in the exact same circumstances, this board would be alight with condemnation.
What Jones did is not a mortal sin. I don’t think he should be disciplined. But the coach should sit him down and explain why it was not right.

Exactly. Not saying Jones is a bad guy or should be disciplined but all these LSU fans excusing his behavior would be losing their mind if that was reversed and would probably be demanding he was kicked out of the game. The hypocrisy runs deep with this group. Under NO circumstance is it Ok to yell F**k You at any opposing player. Especially in baseball.

Kid has the privilege of representing LSU baseball. If he wants to cuss like a sailor on his own time, then so be it.
While he’s wearing that jersey on tv, however, he needs to represent appropriately.
Ask yourself if it would be appropriate for him to talk like that at a presser and then tell me how this is different.

And to further the logic from many on here had the pitcher gave the batter ample time and reached back and blew strike three by him then he would be justified in hollering frick you Pussy as he retired to the dugout…
