I knew we were due a big story after the Lebron thing, there was really nothing left to talk about. Well I can def say I didn't think it'd be this.

LSU needs to start getting the word out for a QB transfer.

I've heard Garrett was called into Miles office last year when it was apparent that the QB situation was up for grabs, and Miles in no uncertain terms asked him if he was ready.

The answer was supposedly no.

If this in fact took place, it's definitely not what you want to hear, esp. at that position.

I tend to think this move was a result of a called bluff. The Lee camp may have asked for a guarantee of no competition.

I hope Miles knows what he's doing here, because he just gave Lee serious leverage with the Dodgers. There number will have to be extremely high and a hard one to turn down.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Miles got played, but I'd like to give him some credit here.

Well that's the scariest thing I've read all night. If our program is at the point where we're cutting guys at the whim of an incoming freshman who may not even show up....

Say stupid shite and you'll get a reply about it. How idiotic can you be to jump to that conclusion? You hope he lights us up when hes the starting QB for Miss State?

The children had to go to bed early. They will wake up in the morning and start crying and pouting. I really liked Chris Garrett after the Spring game last year and was looking forward to seeing how well he had progressed. He was left out cold. Something was amiss. Now we know that there was something between him and the coaches or something. Sad for the kid. I just hope that Zach stays and is good as promised.

CG was gaining momentum as the new favorite. Until Lee became a 1st rd pick in baseball, then all ranters decided we had to have him even though most weren't familiar with him during his recruitment

Bailey could of been released and the board would still have had a meltdown. ANYTHING to add the the fire with Miles on this site will cause an uproar, anything.

I don't disagree but frick he was a freshman. He was probably being honest and wasn't ready.

I don't think he really fits the spread nor is he better than Tyler Russell...
