Maybe by letting this guy go.....a top QB sees an opportunity to come here now and compete w/ a guy that "may or may not" be here next year.

i hope lee plays football, but the possibility of him getting real 1st round baseball money in 3 years scares me

It is very fishy indeed. Lee is no lock and we have whiffed on QB's in recruiting this year. If we sign Oliver this year after cutting Garrett, I will be pissed. Unless, of course, there is a different angle on this story.

This is....amazing. I don't really care why it happened at the moment because our QB situation is just awful.
