"I posted some speed and quickness stats about the players that tested in May and Chris Garret was by far, the slowest and had the worst feet among the 4 QB's that tested, i..e Garret Bailey the preferred walk-on from U-High in Baton ROuge ran in the 4.65 range and had a nice shuttle time, good speed and quickness, JJ ran a 4.7 and had an explosive vertical leap and good shuttle, J. Lee ran in the 5 flat range but Chris Garret ran in the 5.2-5.3 range in the 40 yard dash and had some unimpressive shuttle times. It seems that while he may have had a nice arm, he just never improved his footwork, which means that the coaches probably saw enough of Zach Lee to think he would be the number 3 QB."

So now elite 11 guys are J. Lee? fricking Barkley was elite 11 as was Brantley...........are they J. Lee too? to be fair I mean.
Come on Egg to say that Z. Lee is a baseball player playing football is naive at this point.........He got drafted in baseball cause of his ARM..........and arm that can translate to both sports.

He still has to be able to move.........that 5.2 is so far from protypical prostyle.
I'm sad the kid is leaving but this isn't by any means necessarily a bad thing.........We all saw B. Bailey play........We've all heard about Z. Lee and know what kind of arm he has.........1st round money arm..........
So maybe, just maybe, a kid on scholarship got beat out by a local walkon...........
This isn't that big a tragedy..........BECAUSE WE DON'T know if Z. Lee will be gone in 3 years.
And we don't know who we are getting this year.

Noone expected him to be mobile like Shep idiot, he should still be able to move around in the pocket. For how much the Rant gets on Jefferson for taking sacks, you don't think thats kind of an issue?

it takes a freak like JR to run in the 4.8 range being that type of QB

we have no QBs beyond our starting 2, and they have 2 seasons left
we have an incomming freshman who is completely unproven and a legit threat to leave in 3 years
we have missed on every major QB target this year in recruiting also
there is a very legit possibility that in 2013 we have garbage or a REALLY young QB starting

This meltdown is pretty tame, I understand 10:40 on a Thursday night but when RP was wrecking shite and crap would happen later than this we would have 10+ pages in less than an hour.
