Ford fumbles, hits the hole soft, and is in Miles' doghouse.

you guys are vastly underrating ford.

ware maybe overall a better back with better balance and moves, but i think ford has the better break away speed. Both will be a nightmare for opponents.

I don't buy this at all.

Considering he was a RS freshman that was not a starter, he had a good amount of carries and time.

It showed me that Miles was giving him the experience he needs as he grows older and learns the ins and outs and speed of the college game.

Agreed here. Some of the responses here are puzzling to me. As if Ford was just another RB that's going to sit the bench or a practice squad.

mickey johnson might give him a run though. He was the state powerlifting champ in high school. Might of set a record to.

Is mickey cleared to play?

When has Ford shown to be a fumbler or a soft runner?

if you think about it, we have a big advantage over just about every other sec team. Trent is the man at bama although lacy might be good but don't know. I think it's good that we don't have to deal with ingram/trent or newton/dyer

Arky has kniles but that is about it. I swear i think spurrier will run latimore into the ground (poor fella). AU has dyer as there only real power back, although reed will be in the backfield as well as wr.

there is just NO WAY we don't use both backs extensively. That is a pretty big advantage for us.

A lot of people are underestimating Gore's role imo. I think he is more in the mix than people think.

I like Ford and think he is a good big play guy, but he did seem to go down pretty easily to contact last year. Evidently he was limited between the tackles as well, because we used him almost exclusively outside

Ford and Ware are both special backs. What I think makes Ware better are his instincts. When he hits a hole, it's almost like he anticipates it opening up. Very fast to the hole. Same thing with a defender. He seems to naturally get the balance and timing of a hit to make the defender miss or get a few extra yards. Ware also has pretty good hands. I really think he's going to be special.

Ford is strong and fast, but I haven't seen him do the same things as Ware consistently.

Would much rather just Ware and Ware.

I thought someone would catch my obvious reference to K Willy with the fumbles, soft, doghouse BS.
