I think too many people have written off UF. They still have one of the most talented rosters in the country, and Brantley is the kind of QB that fits into Weiss system very well. We all know Muschamp is a helluva defensive coach.
UF will not be a push over, and I would not be surprized to see th...
Yall are reading recruiting sites when I'm actually talking to some of these kids face to face. Most of the elite talent coming up in LA doesn't have faith in Trent that he'll turn the program around or that he can develop them for the next level.
OK. Why don't you give us some ...

Jeez, that kind of energy bowling in the hallway? Needs to put that into his recruiting trips. This year will tell us something. I won't pack it up just because of one recruit (albeit one very good recruit)...
re: Ridley Signed Thursday With the Pats

Great for him. He is capable of making an impact on the next level. And the Pats are pretty much the best organisation to play for.
I wonder how the new rookie payscales effect him?
does it bother anyone else that jj validates his performance with statements like this?
Not at all. He is likely the starting QB for an NC contender team.
Do you prefer him to say "It is likely that I will be the winningest QB in Tiger history, but it has nothing to do with me. ...
re: Breaking: ESPN confirms Shepard rumors[...] (CFT takes a shot @ESPN / Schad)

The title of the thread is extremely misleading. They are reporting nothing new and confirming NOTHING.
It is basically a journalist taking a shot at another journalist's integrity. It is the media version of a cat fight.
NOTHING TO SEE HERE. MOVE ON....

That was amazing. If he has good hands, he could be a stud WR.
I also like 1:09 where he sheds off 3 successive blockers and still makes a TFL...
re: The biggest and the most interesting

DT battle is the most critical imo. With our LB corps being the weak link in the D, we will need our DTs to step up big time for run defense. Freak Johnson's battle makes this spot the biggest position battle.
As far as most interesting, I think the battle for punt returner will be that. We have ...
re: One of the greatest if not THE Greatest EFFORT plays ever

Dude. Just a pure hustle play. He didn't know if the Pats would be able to get the ball back or stop them or what. He didn't care. He made a play for the sake of the game.
That's what it's all about. The outcome of the game be damned. People will remember that play before they remember the score ...
I was also shocked how they actually tried to make them run the play for the extra point!
I completely forgot about this. What a joke! Every tiger ran off the field like they just robbed a bank. Take the W and run.
Go with Adams or Edwards opposite of Montgomery and when it's 3rd/long go with Mingo and Montgomery on the outside or if we go to Mustang. During Mustang I expect to see Mingo/Montgomery on the outside almost every time with a penetrator on the inside like Freak or Downs.
re: Worst starting QB in Saints history?

Ive been watching since the Bum Philips days when we would get embarrassed by Seifert and Montana twice a year. Based on who Ive watched and without looking at stats, Dave Wilson was the epitome of frustration. God he was awful.

First of all, I could not believe they were subbing out Lee for Jefferson after that pass. I mean, how hard could it be to hand off the damn ball? What could Jefferson have possibly added to that? Then they were in shotgun and the veins started popping out of my neck, but I didn't lose it cuz my 7 y...

re: Caustiously optimistic about Spencer Ware
Posted by Cussian on 7/11/11 at 10:17 pm
Ford and Ware are both special backs. What I think makes Ware better are his instincts. When he hits a hole, it's almost like he anticipates it opening up. Very fast to the hole. Same thing with a defender. He seems to naturally get the balance and timing of a hit to make the defender miss or get a ...
