LSU played bad baseball today, and we lost because of it.

You didn’t lose shite. You didn’t play. You’re not part of the team.

What you mean is “they lost today”, right?

No way in hell with how 3B fielded that is he going to 2nd.

He basically had to go home because it was the only play he had.

They play like they have been shifting, or just even a slight shift, we score a run and have 1 & 3 with no outs

2nd and 3rd. Even Cade is making that a double.

Maybe just 2nd - Merrifield might score.

4. WOAT slide

He’s bailed us out plenty of times so I’ll never be mad at him but damn that was ugly especially if he was going on contact like you said

Also, I would've gladly taken a double play for a run there.

2. He looked back so he could attempt to get in throwing lane (it worked. Catcher made play of game)

If he slides away from the catcher he has a chance.

Morgan said they were in a call to go on any ground ball. That’s so fricking stupid with no outs.

He made a mistake sliding into the catcher and not to the right side of the plate.

Yeah, it's funny people on the board saying, "SEE! it's not Morgan's fault, he was told to go" not realizing that that just makes Jay look like he's panicking.

Got it before your edit.

Going on contact when the ball could be hit straight to you is a terrible decision to make.

It's been confirmed that he was going on contact. As he should have been! Why is it a terrible decision with a left handed hitter? What are the odds the hitter sends a rocket right w5 you when you're on the third base line? It was the right call. We were on the wrong end of a combination of a great play and some luck on their part. They got lucky a left handed somehow lines a ball down the third base line, then they turned it into a major league play that had maybe a 10% chance of being successful

Thems are the breaks.

You don’t go one every ground ball. Up the middle or at first, yes. There’s a rule for this exactly situation. At you or the pitcher, you freeze. Because you have an out to give. That’s the call 100 times out of 100.

And to top it off he was probably safe but there wasn’t indisputable evidence.
