I don't think I've ever eaten that much even when I got up to 230 lbs. I just don't require a lot of calories to grow.

My category 1 ends today. 196 lbs. It's refeed for 3 days right then I hop back on it?

That's what it basically says in the book but I actually just needed it for that one cycle. I just went back to a maintenance diet. I think it just depends on how much you need to lose.

And nice work bro

What are you going to eat to end this cycle? So many choices.

I dunno! My plan is to eat well till one meal and have an overage with that one meal. So if my maintenance is 2000, eat 1000 calories before the meal and do 1200 at the cheat meal. I don't wanna overdo the calories but I do want to have a small break before going at it again.

Alright lsu777 I have created my first draft at a diet plan for this Monolith Program

Basically I used the macros that Wendler set out in his sample diet on his post for the Monolith and those macros were 24P/37F/39C. I figured I would use that for my workout day macros. Then for rest day I set the carbs on the IF calculator at 166 like you said(between 150-200). Rest Day Macros are 24P/62F/14C

His total calories on his sample diet was 5980 but that is for a 200 pound man, as a 160 pounder I multiplied that by 80% and got 4770.

looks good, just realize if you start gaining fat, start cuttig cals on rest days or up the cardio. other than that, looks good.

Cut calories or carbs? You said carbs earlier in the thread just trying to make sure

I'm currently reading through the book and have gotten to the part determining what category you are. I currently weigh 175-180 and am around 16% BF. Since I'm at the lower range, I'm guessing I should shoot for category 1?

You already cut carbs from those days, so not much you can do on that standpoint if you are still gaining fat. You will have to start cutting overall calories coming from fat.

Thanks. I'll probably end up starting next week or so. The worst part for me will be nailing down a meal plan, I'm terrible at that.

I'll be back on the train come Sunday/Monday. Vacation got me eating and drinking all sorts of stuff. But I've gotten in 2 lifting sessions and 2 runs in so I won't be super sore come Monday.

Haha only reason I have been doing this is for vacation can't be looking like a fatty on the beach.

I have been off the rails the last couple days though. Gonna try to stay decent for The Weekend as I will start tnations 6 days to shredded program on Monday to look the best I can the first day there.

I've been a fatty for most of my life! Won't stop me from drinking on the beach and checking out the arse and titties!
