Got a craving for red boudin that just won't quit, so I'm going to just make a trip of it since the SO has never been.

If you were planning a weekend of meals: Friday night dinner through Sunday brunch, and a good place for cocktails as well... Where would you go?

We both love seafood, btw.

All input it appreciated!

Peche. They're open all day, so the best time to go is mid afternoon since they'll be wicked busy on a weekend night.

Solid list of selections but I would not go to Columns if you're expecting quality cocktails. Stick to champagne or something, their bartenders are awful. It's such an awesome location though.

I don't eat enough in NOLA to recommend that many places, but I would hit up Peche for lunch/Domenica for happy hour in some form or fashion

Commander's brunch dishes have looked great lately. I've loved the last brunches I've had there.

Since you both like seafood, Peche would be a good lunch option. Dinner, as well, but lunch might fit your schedule better and it's casual.

I've had terrific meals at R'evolution. It's a nice space and those chairs! They make lingering over after dinner drinks a pleasure. You can either dress up or go casual there.

Agree on Gautreau's, Petite Grocery and Clancy's as other options.

Polo Club at the Windsor Court is a nice place to have cocktails and listen to some live jazz after dinner.

Madigans would be a great spot for drinks after eating at any of those places.

I'm doing the same thing with my wife in a couple weeks, because its been a while for her too. Here's our plan. Mixed up from what I might notmally do, but have to accommodate for some other factors.

Dinner Fri:
Peche
Drinks, Carousel Bar / Polo Club

Lunch Sat:
La Petite Grocery
Drinks, hopefully Nola Taproom / Avenue Pub

Dinner Sat:
Restaurant Nola (not my or her choice, but not bad)

Lunch Sun:
Cochon Butcher

Katie's. (I'm flexible here)

That puts you into nearly every neighborhood in town all with really solid food.

Enjoy!
