yea, i know it's "condensed milk." it's actually a mixture of condensed and evaporated. if it was just condensed, it'd be too thick to pour effeciently. so let's just call it "cream" from now on.

At least in my area, those are two different things. You can get "cream" on your snowball, which is evaporated, unsweetened, canned milk (aka "Pet" milk after the brand). Or you can get condensed milk, which is the thick, sweetened canned stuff. I do know some places mix the two and call it "cream", but the two are distinctly separate options around here.

i worked in a snowball stand in highschool, and we'd always mix them. i think it also has to do with what you put on your menu. if you call it "cream" on the menu, people will just ask for cream.
