re: Where is the situation with streaming services going now with the Disney move and others? - Wooly
It will end up with everyone having to have 5 subscriptions to get what they want. Which will cost $50 a month. End up not saving any money. Makes sense business wise from the provider standpoint. If they know people will pay for it, start your own "Netflix"...

re: I'm sure you guys have already discussed Dunkirk ad nauseum, but DAMN - Wooly
Gotta say, I'm sure I'm in the minority. Wasn't a huge fan. They said there are 400k men on this beach. But what I saw looked more like 4,000 instead of 400,000. The build up was great, but the scale made it not very impressive to me. Still recommend going to see it. ...

re: Wifes yorkie was mauled by another dog and the vet bill - Wooly
We dropped 5k trying to keep our 12 year old lab alive. When they came back and said we need to try this and told us what it would cost we had to say goodbye. She was old, she could have gotten better and dropped dead a week later from something else. It's sad when finances are the reason to let...

re: 'Dunkirk' Discussion Thread - Spoilers - Wooly
I honestly didn't think it was very good. I think I was expecting something different though. visuallt stunning, but I was surprised at how little dialogue there was. Which did make me feel like I was in the middle of fighting for survival, no talking, just trying to stay alive. Overall thou...
James Conner is a cool story. 3rd round draft pick who beat cancer.
Met and talked to him at a pirates game in Pittsburgh after he threw out the first pitch. They had just announced he was cancer free and it was opening day. He was super nice and seemed like a genuinely good guy. ...

[link=(https://www.phantomplate.com/shop/proddetail.asp?prod=02)]LINK[/link] Do these actually work? It's the one where if you look at it from an angle it blocks half and the same from the other direction. I know, stop breaking the law. Just curious if anyone has one and how it works?...
