Oh you know, the usual easy spot, the Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen... I was there for business and specifically sought it out. Well worth it.

Figured you'd say something cool like that. Lucky bastard.

Gotta be ready for it, huge flavor and obviously filling. Then again, the chocolate Yeti is awesome, too.

Just had the expresso oak aged yeti. Delicious, I love this style. I didn't realize it had a 9.5% abv until after I finished it. It didn't show up at all in the taste. Very smooth. Reminded me a bit of Irish Channel Stout but a little richer and the oak aging gave it some extra flavors ICS is missing.

Finished the bottle by myself along with a couple of slices of a margherita pizza with no problems.

Where are yal getting the espresso Yeti?
I was impressed with the regular and the oak aged chocolate Yeti, but damn I'm jealous of that espresso.

what's that pink beer?

I'm intrigued, just because it looks weird.

Spec's in college station. Their selection kinda sucked so it stuck out like a sore thumb.

Where was that pic taken?

I'm still a fan of the regular Yeti over the oak aged or espresso versions. So good.

Highland package store in Birmingham. They have a nice selection of draft beer that they can sell right there in those milk jugs. It's awesome. That needs to happen here.

Pretty sure Chimes will fill growlers for you if you want. Avenue Pub does at well in New Orleans. It's not quite the same as a bottle shop also offering growler fills for the stuff that's only on tap, but close.

Yeah, I know it. It's just not the same. If I'm going to the chimes it's to eat and drink. I've probably only had a growler filled there twice.
Plus, they don't have anywhere near that selection.

Phil has filled my growler at The Bulldog a few times. Got a growler full of Sam Adams Wee Heavy a couple weeks ago.

damn, that place looks awesome. I would piss my pants if Lake Charles, the arm pit of good beer, had a place that looked like that.

I might voluntarily go to Lake Charles then...

Fixed....and remember, it could be worse than the arm pit, but not much worse. :)

Anyone try any Russian River brews or know the closest place to Baton Rouge where it is available? Russian River is to Beer Advocate what Siriracha is to the Food Board. I have to see if it is legit.
