I cook for my woman every damn night.

But, a neapolitan-style pizza from scratch, probably.

BBQ shrimp w/ french bread
blue cheese vinagrette chopped salad
yellow cake w/ chocolate icing (cheesy, I know, but we've done this for every one of the 28 years we've been together. )

We're celebrating a birthday with a large group. My assignment is a soup and I'm probably doing some sort of oyster. Don't know what else is on the menu.

Looking for ideas

I'll be purchasing the groceries while she prepares it.

At my place and I don't have much gear, but open for (easier) suggestions.

Same here. She is incapable of frying an egg.

Today's choices:

Shrimp etouffee.
Chili
Pasta salad with spinach

She must always have 3 choices. And then she will drink her nasty expensive teas from Teavana and Yogi. It's disgusting.

This will be the salad. Artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, black olives, mushrooms, baby spinach, feta, and sauteed white shrimp. With home made key lime vinaigrette. Made this a few times before.

Will be baking some tripletail filets topped with shrimp/butter/lime sauce.

Will make crostinis with sliced cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and parmesan.

Plain cheesecake made by a friend of my mom's for dessert.

I will get 2 years of kitchen passes for this meal. Maybe 3.
