What Is The Worst Experience You've Ever Had At A Restaurant?
Two of them come to mind.
Jan 28, 2001. Some resort in Puerto Vallarta. Happened to be there during Superbowl Sunday (Ravens/Giants) and in the previous days, advertized all you can eat buffet and free alcoholic drinks for a one time price, which was pretty steep. The entire game (or until we left out of frustration), there was nothing but depleted pans in the buffet line, and drinks were nearly impossible to get. You couldn't simply obtain your free drinks from a bar or even pay for one anywhere. You had to wait for a cocktail waitress to come around, which were more scarce than those at Belle casino. It was by far the biggest rip off I can think of. At halftime, we were hungry and thirsty so got the frick out of there. It was the only Superbowl that I paid big bucks and COULDN'T have a beer in my hand.
My absolute WORST experience has to be when I was about 8 years old and had scalding coffee accidentally dumped on me by a waiter. These were the days before you sued anyone. It was probably only first to second degree burns but it hurt like hell. No one should endure physical pain when they go out to eat.
When I was even younger, I was served some milk, of which I got about halfway through before my folks noticed that it was sour.
