For some reason, I just can't stomach that stuff. The chips are bad, the cheese is bad and the jalapeno peppers are good.

Think I'm going to have some chili with some nachos. Julio's chips and that Sam's cheese wheel with the cheddar and monterey jack cheese and peppers. I love that cheese.

FIL put a rack of St Louis ribs in the smoker earlier. It appears as if he didn't consider sides.

Homemade sun dried tomato pasta with homemade basil pesto. A 2006 Beau Vigne Reserve Chardonnay while watching the rain.

Wife finally bought a pasta roller.

Defrosted some raw meatballs I made a while back. Made a red sauce, seared the meatballs, and have them all simmering for an hour or so. No pasta.

Roasting green beans, carrots, bell peppers, onions, and garlic - all from the garden except garlic - which will be eaten for lunch tomorrow.

I'm eating healthy

I'd love to dip some crusty bread slices in the meatballs.... especially since I made more sauce than planned.

Went to an Italian joint in ATL with work folks. Pasta da Pulcinella. Had the mushroom ravioli for an app, arugula salad w/ goat cheese + pine nuts, lemon vinaigrette, chicken and ricotta cannelloni w/ red sauce and gorgonzola cream sauce. Everything was good .. but nothing was great.

Tuesday is two for one price Mexican food night in Meridian. La Pinata is the best and where you will find us most any Tuesday night.

Shrimp Quesada's always a winner. Sadly for me, I just buy them to compensate La Pinata for the chips and salsa, which is my main interest.
