Any recommendations at all whether for lunch or dinner, casual or dressy...money isn't an issue...just looking for decent food. Will not be going into Birmingham and this is not for the weekend of the AL game.

You will thank me later for staying far, far away from Dreamland barbecue.

Thanks for the info.

Anyone else have other suggestions? Might be trying to watch the AL/FL game Sat night. Any places better than others for that?

Please God, not Moe's or Dreamland.

Go to Archibald's for ribs.
Five in downtown for the atmosphere.
Nick's in the Sticks for a steak.
Desperado's Steakhouse or Carmello Cafe for a damn good meal.
DePalma's for Italian.
Carmello Cafe or Chuck's Fish for brunch.

Enjoy your stay.

I've always enjoyed the Cypress Inn when I'm in T-town.

I'd go to Mugshots. The hamburgers and fries are awesome. It's also got a nice bar to hang around if you want to do that.

Can't do brunch. We have to be with my niece that morning and there is a brunch planned. Wish we could. Will probably need Saturday night, Sunday night and Monday quick lunch before we leave.
