Its a bar, with no food. So you may want to have dinner before you head there, but it is the Alabama sports bar.

Thanks for the info.

Anyone else have other suggestions? Might be trying to watch the AL/FL game Sat night. Any places better than others for that?

Epiphanys - Really good more upscale restaurant close to MugShots that no one has mentioned. I think it's supposed to be a better lunch option than dinner.

LINK

Kozys - Expensive, but gets great reviews

Evangelines - Similar to Kozy's. Really good restaurant across from Indian Hills CC.

LINK /

DePalmas - One of my favorite Italian places anywhere.

For good bar food, I'd suggest a new place in Midtown Village called Wings U. It's a slightly more upscale version of Bob Baumhower's Wings Sports Grill (same owner) with a little better menu and better drink selection.

Actually I found it out on another board. Our great great.....grandfather was in the Lousiana Purchase and his descendant founded LSU.

I think we are twins, but I am still confirming that.

Ignore what the posters said about Dreamland. "Ain't nothing like em nowhere".

Waysider or Rama Jama's for breakfast.

Cypress Inn and Nick's in the Sticks are really good. Ate at Wintzell's for the first time last Friday and it was good. Bottomfeeder's is pretty good. The tornado took Milo's.

Has gone WAY downhill in the years since Big John died. There are now many places as good or better.

Cypress Inn and Nick's = good. Wintzell's = very average local Mobile chain so I can get that anyday at home. Bottomfeeder's = meh. Milo's = I'll never EVER understand the appeal that place has to some. Just plain bad food.

Gris - you're welcome

I should mention there is also a Chipotle at Midtown Village as well.

We ate there on our way back from the UNC game last year, pretty good stuff, awesome view of the river.
