actually it was Bayou Lafourche.

Well there's a sunken UBoat at the mouth of the Mississippi.

No real reason to think they didn't patrol up river. Certainly nothing to stop them.

Here's an idea, why don't you call his show today and ask him about it. Please report back.

If you really don't think it's possible or even likely a German Sub came up the Mississippi, meet me on the OT to discuss.

I'll be waiting for your post...

I had a pretty awful banquet dinner there this summer. Seriously subpar food, all made of the cheapest ingredients. Simple, unfussy Italian food can be wonderful, but when the ingredients are terrible, it shows.

He finally gave up on pimping Andrea's in the last year or so it seems. He may allow the commercials(which is not the way the claims he operates in regards to quality restaurants), but I think the loving relationship between he and Andrea is finally over.

Funniest thing I rememember about their stupid relationship was the time that Tom said either in his newsletter or on the air that Chef Andrea had called him the day before while he was in the shower to beg Tom to bump up his rating.

That man should be ashamed of the quality of food his restaurant serves. The shitehead was born in Italy, has enough experience to put out quality food and he serves that crap. He's a joke!!!!

What about when he would be the bartender, Niles was it, and acted out a skit like he was on a railcar and they had a new chef everyday. That was about the stupidest thing he ever did. I'd turn the station when he started that shite show.

This is surprising to me. I only ate there once, about 8 to 10 years ago, and it was the best meal I ever had. I still remember what I had - crawfish ravioli and osso bucco.

I hadn't been able to listen to the show much at all recently but I heard a show last week. A guy called in to challenge Tom on his top 5 or 10 Italian restaurants in the city or something dumb like that.
The guy was just shocked that Tom didn't include Andrea on the list and was confused at to why. Tom just flatly told him that Andrea's was just way to inconsistant to be a top tier place any more.

The chef Andrea phone call was one thing that would always get me to turn the station.

I went to one at Gautreau's and had a really good time, and also met some good business contacts.

Meh, I guess. Not horrible or anything.

Staff has watched Goodfellas too many times, though.

Amici is decent for happy hour but I wouldn't pay full price.
