I think they got #1 correct.

I'd say #2 is Mr. John's

Besh Steak? No way. I've only eaten at Besh and Mr. Johns and Mr. Johns was far superior.

that chophouse steak in the picture doesnt look too good, Mr Johns blows that away just from the pictures.

I agree with threeputt. Mr Johns was best steakhouse I had ever dined until 6 months ago. Not sure whats up.

Its still superior to Crecent City and Besh tho.

La Boca is so different..... But I cannot say its not #1.... Just different

My bad. It's la boca. I'm sure it's good and all but that steak looks dry.

Mr. Johns has been off the last several months. Not the Mr. Johns of old. Not close. I would also put Ruth's on that list.

The last time my wife and I went was in August and it was noticeably different. Not bad, just not incredible as usual. La Boca has never disappointed.

Chophouse

Chophouse is really good.

I think they are worthy of a 2-3 spot.

Like La Boca at #1.

No Crazy Johnnys no care!

Had no idea Chophouse was uptown, but I guess Thrillist re-drew the map. I found Chophouse sub-par and way too expensive, even for a steakhouse.

La Boca at #1 is about the only one they got right.

Sure, right by the Uptown Superdome, adjacent to the CBD.

way too expensive

This x1000.

However, I didn't pay the two times I've been. I still thought it was better then Ruth's similar styled Steakhouses.

There's a new chef. I haven't tried it since the change though.

Mr Johns lost their chef about 5 months ago. I haven't been since. Not including Mr Johns, La Boca is the best steakhouse. I don't care for Chophouse.

Agree with La Boca - best ever and so well-priced. The prix fixe is the best deal in town. Mr. John's was #2 although I have not been lately. Besh Steakhouse was not good when I went.

I actually like Chophouse but don't think it's number 2.

I want to like Crescent City but...it's not in my top 5.
