re: Beers that no longer exist - Fat Harry
Southpaw was a college favorite, cannot believe they don't make that anymore! Lazy Magnolia Blue Heron was a good one. Only available in the party pigs back in the day pre-bottling. Is Bud Ice Light still around? That was good for getting hammered....

re: My brief, and fairly simple, Ursa Major review - Fat Harry
It was pretty deserted yesterday at lunch. The lunch menu is quite abbreviated but veers towards Asian and South American flavors. We split the shrimp entree, which is like a Vietnamese take on shrimp and rice. The shrimp are whole which was annoying for lunch dining but the flavors were all very...

Willa Jean in the South Market District - Fat Harry
Has anyone been to Willa Jean, the new bakery/restaurant in the South Market from the Besh Restaurant Group? If so, 1) how was it and 2) any new restaurant issues?...

re: Donner-Peltier Distillery? - Fat Harry
It's super expensive stuff, but I have heard good things. The distillery is located under the Broad overpass near Earhart and may be worth a visit to taste....

re: Has anyone been to Kebab on St.Claude? - Fat Harry
Adding the street name puts the place in context for those of us who live in NOLA and have not heard of the place. St. Claude tells me that it's in the Bywater and is probably grimy and full of hipsters. I for one appreciate the addition of location. ...

re: leathas bbq foxworth MS? - Fat Harry
Special place. Crossed over the Pearl River and then back down in a swamp near some railroad tracks. Larry "Applehead" could nail some Michael Jackson. I think it moved to Hattiesburg around 2000 or so. ...

Tom Fitzmorris rips Velvet Cactus - Fat Harry
 He is such an awkward guy, but I would agree that the food is definitely not the focus at the Cactus. [link=(http://nomenu.com/?p=47970)]LINK[/link]...

re: What's the big deal about Newk's Eatery? - Fat Harry
Girls really do love that place. I think it's very average but certainly better than Subway. The ordering style, trade dress, and abundance of salads make it very female friendly, as do the free breadstick things and the go-cup....
