re: Ben Carson to head HUD - Fat Harry
All Carson must do is stop HUD from forcing Section 8 into good neighborhoods. If he accomplishes that one small feat, then his tenure will be a success. HUD is going to destroy American cities with this program. NOLA is where they are trying to test it out....

re: Vail restaurants and activities - Fat Harry
I highly recommend Beano's Cabin. The only way to get there is by open-air sleigh ride. The ride is a blast and the conductor tells cheesy jokes etc., but the food at Beano's is serious....

re: Subway's Reuben - Fat Harry
Reuben's reuben is very good. Better be if you are going to name your restaurant after it. It is owned by the same people who own The Store, which incidentally is another good sandwich spot (but does not have a reuben). Reuben's is on Gravier Street around Baronne....

Oia is incredible. Ride the donkey up the cliff from the bottom. Do the Santorini wine tour. Boat rides, volcano climbing, and 4-wheeler excursions....

re: Tulane vs UNC Basketball Tonight - Fat Harry
While the loss was not surprising, the effort was. Tulane looked pretty competitive in that game. Dunleavy may have some wins up his sleeve this year....

re: Big Sky skiing - Fat Harry
Best skiing in the West. Fly into Bozeman and drive ~ 45 minutes to the resort. The runs are long and challenging. The bar scene is not great but there are plenty of rich guys for you cougars....

I'll be there. Line is Heels -21. That seems like a lot but who knows how Dunleavy's squad will perform. Malik Morgan needs to have a monster game for the Wave....

re: Looking for suggestions on how to travel to/from/in Banff national park - Fat Harry
As far as budget, if you are going in the winter be ready to shell out some dough. You will want to do the dog sledding, glacier tour, and skiing. Prepare to tear up $100 (Can.) bills on that trip....

We flew into Calgary and rented a car. Stayed in Lake Louise at the Chateau Lake Louise, which was a really great hotel. Right next to the skiing and the glacier. Really easy trip....

That is simply wrong. There is nothing inherently dangerous about "small planes".
Yes there is. Unpredictable mother nature. Wind, Rain, Thunderstorms, etc make small planes dangerous.
You listed weather. The weather has nothing to do with small planes being dangero...

re: The Wife wants an all-inclusive in the Dominican Republic... - Fat Harry
Highly recommend Cap Cana near Punta Cana. Private villas with a staff of 3. It's not all-inclusive in that you have to give them a grocery list and they cook it for you, but you don't need to pay cash for meals. They also make the best pina coladas of all time....
