No weight change for a while but everything fits better. I'm expecting a big number drop soon. That always seems to be the way I do it. Back on the pain train in the gym

The last couple of weeks has been filled with traveling and trying to get back in to a groove on my diet. Pretty sure most of my gains are still water weight from eating way too many carbs over the last 2 weeks and I had also stopped tracking all of my food religiously like I had been. Time to get back on track.

Today is the last day of my Insanity/P90X hybrid schedule workouts.

I'm hoping that in the morning I can weigh under 170, even if I have to cheat to do it

I am totally stuck right around 170. I'm 5'10 so it's not bad, but I can't get down there.

Doing what I wanted to still during football season, maintain and or very slowly lose weight.

227/215/185

Who else was on the OT and saw the weight loss thread that made them think of this one?

Decided to start tracking my progress here along with you guys. Glanced through some of the posts from the past few months and it seems like everyone has mostly had success.

I started at 315lbs on Sept 12.

Started off just walking 2.5-3.5 miles 6 days a week. After about two weeks, ive started walking 3.5-4 miles as a warmup before lifting. Sometimes doing 5-6 miles in 25 mins on the stationary bike for the warm up.

Currently down to 304. Probably added about 5 lbs of muscle.

Just started with the my fitness pal app to track meals.

Currently at 315/304.6/250 6'7"

ETA: Once I get back below 300, I plan on turning the walks into runs. I wanna use the C25K app to eventually work my way up to running 5Ks.

Yep. Still holding steady around 150 for me for the year. Curious about tim ferriss' geek to freak program, I liked his 4 hr body book. ANY lifting I do will work.

My only problem is I've never lifted in my life. I know about the hardest part about gaining is eating.

I once spent two weeks eating 4,000+ Keto calories and only gained a pound. Did it again after a two week rest and lost two pounds. I was sick of eating steak, eggs, butter, cheese, bacon!

I then got into fasting, only have bone broth for minerals and water. I found I can go a long time and feel fine since my body learned to metabolize fats

Any suggestions on how to start lifting?
