Good work.

Yeah I love beer but you get much more bang for your buck with liquor for sure.

Nice work.

How often do you drink? I slowed down my drinking, but I'd love to have some woodford reserve every night

Friday nights and Saturday nights... Changed from Friday nights and all day Saturday

Like last Friday I had one bourbon with dinner and then Saturday I had two while we watched movies.

Just twice a week? Nice. For some reason I remember your name popping up a lot in the FBD when I used to lurk them. Figured you drank more than twice a week.

Well during the work week yeah twice, but I could put a 6 pack down on Friday night and twice that on Saturday.
Plus I would drink on other days if I had the next day off.
I looked and I was consuming over 1500 calories just in beer on Saturdays

ELT - hell yeah! I'm feeling better already.

ETA: I used hell yeah two different times spelled it differently. Awesome.

In order to solve my endurance problems as I switch to Keto (~6 more weeks to go before I'm at the 80% mark), I made this shake before my workout. Literally felt like I was on some columbia white powder.

8g dextrose (I used Karo lite)
25g whey protein
15g coconut oil

Finally back to the weight I was on Friday. Two days of carbs on Fri and Sat and it took me 3 days to recover.

Here's to never doing that again.

Thanks for sharing! This has always been my biggest issue when I cut carbs. I feel fine, except when it's time to exert myself. Then I feel weak & shaky. I was solving the problem by eating a piece of candy, like a Reese's cup. It never totally derailed me or prevented me from losing, & it gave me energy to play tennis or whatever. But I know it's not healthy or a good idea for long term goals. I need to do something like your smoothie instead.

I was wrong about the start date for my league, I think it's next month sometime. When's your first match again?
