6'2, 28yo, 270.

My bathroom scale bf% says 32. It's usually high by about 2% but at my weight it doesn't really matter.

I am making a trip to costco today to load up on lean proteins and vegetables.

So blood levels this morning where at 49/50 the two times i tested so I didn't need to do the depletion workout as last nights worked. I had about 185g carbs this morning and measured and it was at 88 right after. Will check again in 30 min or so. Will take readings every hour after that.

As far as blood levels dropping after a workout, yes sometimes. Like last night I my was bad. And when I do long sessions with long times under tension I get nauseous and light headed but during a normal workout where it's only like 12-15 sets total and all about strength, no I don't. Only other time I notice it is during squats sometimes but not sure if that's from the squats themselves and their effect on blood sugar or because it's already low.

188/183.7/175

Ate a massive dinner last night of about 6-8 jimmy deans sausage links, melted cheese on top with some oregano. One fist full of baby spinach with extra virgin olive oil, walnuts, and some balsamic on top.

Energy level was on point when I got up today - did some fasted training, will push it to my 16 and then hit it hard again for lunch.

Also, today was the first day I decided to look at my "before" photo from 3 weeks ago. It's amazing to see how much body fat I've dropped. My love handles have really gone down and I'm starting to lose some fat from my face.

I accidentally put your weight as 279instead of 270 but you get the point. Eat 180g protein and as little fat and net carbs as possible.

Remember psmf stands for protein strictly mother fricker

Junky 1.5 hours after eating blood sugar is at 81 so falling. I feel like dog shite and taking everything I have not to puke. I think I way under estimated the effect this diet would have on my ability to eat large amounts.

First meal down.

Have you ever tried using Walden farms salad dressing? I choked down a spinach salad dressed with dijon mustard and vinegar.. Wondering if those 0 calorie dressings are any good.

Yea they are horrible tasting imo. Now the chocolate, caramel and whip cream are ok. I would rather just balsamic vinegar then use that. Macros are fine though.

I switched to almost strictly chicken breast and brussel sprouts. I pre cook everything and then heat them up on the gas grill at work. Way better than microwave, other wise I would just fast until I got home to do them in oven.

And if you are worried about being hungry, you essentially get to eat 2 lbs of extra lean mean and almost all the green veggies you want. And two lbs of chicken breast is a ton especially if you do IF with it and only eat two meals a day.

Yeah I just ate a frick ton of spinach and cauliflower. The meat was a grass fed sirloin.. Not quite lean enough I know, but it was at use it or lose it stage... From here on out its chicken breast, turkey breast, pork Tenderloin, or fish.. And I'm buying tons of broccoli, Brussels sprouts, etc.

So junky, blood sugar was down to 66 already. Just ate 5 servings of Nutella though so prolly going back up. If I eat anymore carbs it will be in the form of pasta. Stomach is killing me, having bad gas and frankly the appeal has just worn off and I want to get back on the diet. I might try and eat so pasta but I will have to force feed to do it and I'm just tired of that.

Meal 2 is an entire fricking carton of egg whites for 50g protein, and the leftover riced cauliflower. Salsa and hot sauce for flavor.

Talk about a voluminous meal

What makes the fat fast so hard?

Because the fat fast( at least the ones in the studies) is 800-1000 cals at 90% fat. So essentially you just drinking bullet proof coffee all day. If you lower it to 80% you still get good results and it allows a bit more real food. But essentially you are stuck only eating the meals in the cookbook like once maybe twice then you have to do a couple of bulletproof coffees or however you like to drink your fat.

So checked blood sugar again, up to 99 but I think it has peaked, which for a peak is not bad. I didn't do good on this refeed and kind of screwed it up. I Reread the rules in the book and will post some rules for the different categories.

And yea hulk the egg whites ended up being too much for me. It's so voluminous I couldn't handle them.

For my Keto and low carb bros, go to Trader Joe's and stock up on these bad boys. They just came out last week and they're a pretty damn good snack - and cheap at $2.49 a bag (I bought 10 bags)

1 package:
340 calories
24g fat (16 sat fat)
<1g carbs
30g protein
