Only one I might quibble with is Clancys.

It's a really good restaurant, don't get me wrong. I just don't think it does anything really spectacularly, but it always seems to find its way onto these lists nonetheless.

Agreed. Coquette belongs. Wasn't it on last year's list?

Should not be on the list. Also, Shaya and a few other new places are eligible for the Top 10 New Restaurant list so they aren't eligible for this list.

To replace those 2 I would just throw randomly pick between Coquette, Patois, Lilette or Mariza.

Its not what I would call an adventurous list, except for Square Root. Not hating on any of the restaurants, but they appear to be mostly uptown-centric, and the "new" grand dame variety. I expected a bit more from Anderson, but I guess we should be happy that The Toilet Paper sill keeps him employed.

You make some good points, but what would you have added?

I listed Coquette. Lilette certainly belongs, maybe Meauxbar. Scratching my head on others.

BA will be at the Advocate soon. TP is about to end up where it belongs. Da terlit

I forgot about Toup's. That place is putting out some really good food.

For me:
Subtract Brigsten's, Clancy's, and Square Root
Add Shaya, Coquette, Lilette

I would add Mariza's, Kin, The Franklin and possibly Doris Metropolitan. As to who to delete, I join the chorus with many who have picked Brightsen's and Clancy's (but, I do like both) and would also add in Commanders (I think they have been on auto-pilot for a long time)and potentially Herbsaint (again, I really like Herbsaint, but it also appears to be on autopilot lately).
