So far Jeremy and Isaac are by far the most consistent. Doesn't look like any woman is going to be around to the end.

#Toups... #MidCityNOLA

ETA: Jeremy is in the lead for sure. No homer stuff and deservedly so. Isaac is easily second for his consistency.

Give it a few more weeks before you start caring too much. 2-3 more people need to go home before the season really starts.

The fat dude from Georgia, Giselle and the young broad from Miami all need to be the target of Padma's snark then shown the door.

I think there was one cooking session only where she wasn't on the bottom. Keeping her around reeks of producer decision just to keep her for drama. Grayson got shafted last night.

Love that Toups is representin. Ton of talent this year.

Don't know but I'm glad they got her whiny arse out of there.

I was surprised at no thread with Toups on there, but did not start one since there were no mentions.

I've been watching, but I confess I pay far less attention than I used to. The way they edit it, it's pretty rare that you can actually pick up any usable tips/techniques.

Cook a weeding dinner for 300 from a grade school vending machine using a crockpot, drama drama, followed by completed dish with foam and a piece of crispy chicken skin the size of a pinhead. Padma complains the chicken skin was not crispy enough.

Who's booted first... Miami girl or Cali dude?

At least the Cali dude is entertaining and tries crazy; I have yet to see anything redeeming of Miami girl skills.

Think I've been deleting them not realizing Toups is on. It's not one of my favorite shows. Has it been any good?

Do people still watch this show or is it only because there is a local guy on this time?

I still watch it. At least there are some decent chefs this season. It was hard to watch the past couple of years, because they kept people around because they were crazy, even though they couldn't cook. But Isaac, the young black dude from D.C., the dude with the beard, the dude who looks like Shrek -- they can all cook and are decent people. The Cali manbun guy has gots to go, and the crazy gay guy from Seattle is getting on my nerves.

yea I'm ready to see him gone too. His bitching about not having any friends on the show is so petty and annoying

Toups is by far my favorite. He has not put out a weak dish yet. Cali manbun dude would have been taken out and mud sunk long ago. The little Mami from Miami is annoying AF. I have not really gotten into any of the women on the show this season. None of them seem to stand out. By the way, Toups is supposed to be making a new spin on mayo tomorrow. #banannaise.

Well, Wesley is gone but I thought he was very humble in his departure chat and very complimentary of the other chefs.
Isaac had a close call this week. Good thing Wesley was worse though the squid meatballs probably should have gone home before the lamb.

I think technique is what got Wesley sent home. His plate was a mess and the lamb was dried out and over done. I think they gave some points for swinging for the fences with the squid meatball. That thing would have never crossed my lips to be honest. It looked absolutely awful. I think I jinxed Isaac this week with my earlier comment. His quickfire and his elimination offerings were both weak. BUT, he had good flavors. The plate just looked like a mess.

Yeah not sure why Isaac would put his crab salad on that piece of raw corn on the cob when they say over and over to not put something on the plate that they cant eat. Luckily his crab was on point and wesley/that little bitch dude screwed up so royally that his mistakes did not send him home. Hopefully isaac bounces back next week with a win.

He made his dirty rice already.. wonder if he gets the opportunity to do his lamb neck on the show.

It was a close call between the squid meatball and Wesley's overall fail.

Isaac hung in there saving himself with gumbo, but he blew the first contest. Glad he's still there.
