going to Biloxi this week for one night, staying at the Beau Rivage. We usually eat at the Ruth's Chris at the hardrock. Wife wants to find a seafood place to try. Any recommendations?

What's the story with thirty two at the top of the IP casino? Any good?

Y'all could stop in BSL on the way and eat...there are some nice places here and it's a bit more quaint than Biloxi.

Fun first...Trapanis. They serve very good trout dishes, and their royal reds make for a great app.

"Nice"...The Sycamore House. It's a restaurant run by a couple of chefs who live upstairs, it has real good shrimp Remoulade and scallop apps, as well as fish and scallop entrees.

Women LOVE the Syc House. You'll get serious brownie points for stopping there. Reservations recommended. https://www.thesycamorehouse.com/

Don't know much about Biloxi, outside of Vietnamese places.

Half Shell Rest. has been decent.
Was a little disappointed with the oyster 3 ways last weekend. But the shrimp and grits were spot on. Smoked tuna dip is a great app as well.
Half shell does not take reservations - get there early.

Mary Mahonnys is good, but double the price and not worth the money last time we ate there.

Aunt Jenny's Catfish in Ocean Springs is a casual place but as really good food. All you can eat catfish, chicken or shrimp for pretty cheap.

Used to work there.... Was great... Haven't eaten in a long time there, but if you get a table looking at the gulf it's good shite.

It may be a bit far but Bacchus in Long beach is a favorite of mine.

We ate at the place next to Shaggys, Pelican Wharf. It was spectacular. They had something called Boudreaux's Bread. It was awesome!

enjoyed half shell the one time I went. The oysters seemed fresh and the entrees were above average. nice atmosphere...especially for biloxi

Golden Nugget has a Morton's steakhouse if that's more what you're looking for

Have you been to Hooks in the Pass? I haven't, but the concept looks pretty cool (and apparently they serve triple tail often). I haven't heard glowing reviews, but I've yet to hear from someone I really trust about it.

Go to Bacchus.

That half shell shite is not worth it...

Mary mahoneys is always a decent spot or you could run across the bridge into ocean springs

Hooks isn't bad... It's different. We eat there every now and then, but the way you have to pick your sauces and stuff kind of annoys me. Fish is generally cooked well though.

That's the part that sounds interesting. I wonder how they source triple tail regularly. That's not a common fish in coast restaurants.

Have only been for lunch and I really like it. Now, I've only had shrimp and chicken, no fish dishes.

We had dinner at Bacchus on the Beach in the Pass 2 weeks ago and all 4 of us dining were very happy with our food.

Oh and I can't believe someone recommended Shaggy's. Mediocre food and service.
