re: How is live Robert Earl Keen? - HebertFest08
Always enjoy a good REK concert.... the last time he was here it wasn't that great though. Definitely, didn't want to be here or at least singing that night. He phoned it in. That being said... if he looks high when he starts it'll probably be a good one. Thing that sucks about the var...
I saw one coffee suggestion, sny others?
shite man.... instead of buying a whole other bottle, just grab a good dark roast or espresso roast and make sure it's ground up good. Add it to your exhisting rubs. Do like a couple tablespoons per cup of rub.... Add more according the...

re: Kid inspires Louisiana Marathon runners with sign Sunday - HebertFest08
One of my favorites was along the lines of "this parade sucks!" And "there is a naked cheer leader 1 mile ahead" And the ever present don't trust that fart!...

re: Shimano Citica 200i for Saltwater - HebertFest08
I have one that is 10+ that I had professionally cleaned etc once and all I do is trout and red fish. I have another that is probably 4-5 yrs old or so that is fantastic. The older is my third rig and my "company" rig. The newer one and a curado is what I use most. I rarely wash them off.......

re: BUGS ... the most dynamic athlete on campus - HebertFest08
The wife has season tickets and loves this shite. Generally, I make one a year with her to show my support and make her happy. The rest of the year she brings friends or one of our friends daughters. I'll say this.... the difference in the athlete LSU put on the floor and the one Georgia put out...

re: Teddy's Juke Joint - HebertFest08
Been there several times... buddy lives in Zachary. It's cool for what it is. That being said... Sat there on a Sunday for prolly 3 hrs on the porch with teddy, his wife and a couple other musicians cause the electricity was out when we got there. I don't think Teddy likes the white guy(wife i...

re: Bennelli SBE II - HebertFest08
Great gun. Love mine, but I'd wait for that 3 to come out. I have buddies in Arkansas who have put 5+ cases of shells in flooded timber every year for the last 6-8 seasons and they have had no issues. That includs being dropped in the water, sitting on ice type cold weather etc etc. That's...

re: When Johnny is gone, I want Temples input into this program cut off as well..... - HebertFest08
No, but Temple and the crew put him in a big hole by negatively recruiting against him. Encouraging players to go elsewhere, etc.. Then they bullied Alleva into hiring JJ. One of the worst hires in NCAA basketball history.
It's no secret the dude has a handle in local AAU guys...

re: Eliza Restaurant on Jefferson - HebertFest08
Agree with the previous post.... not life changing, but the food was solid. Just enough things on the menu to be able to satisfy just about anything you are feeling. Owners were very nice and the service was very good and attentive. They worked for the Brennan's folks for a long time. They sa...

re: 3 duck hunters found dead - HebertFest08
I had to back out last minute from the hunt this weekend. My buddies had to go to our lease on the canarvon side of Reggio to try to help a few dudes. Said the only thing that you could see was the top of the mid motor. 2-3 had waders on. The other they thought was in bad shape. Coast guard had...
