I think Jay said they are guaranteed to film a pilot episode, then if it gets picked up they get a 6-episode run. After that, they are guaranteed nothing... but it appears that the FN has plenty of power to even nix the pilot if they want.

Last season the dude who won was found to have made racist and homophobic comments on his blog, so he was cut.

The season before was Damaris, so I was wrong, two out of the last three have done nothing.

The guy who won before her just had a pilot, nothing else that I can find.

Interesting stuff. I can't remember if they get any money for the win.

Is Aarti's Party still going? I liked her flavors, but wasn't crazy about her. She needed some pizzazz or something. I felt like her show was just short of possibly being good because she got a bit boring, though I only saw a few of them.

Two gay guys
Guy Feiri- hate him or not he has been successful
Aaron McCargo- had a show
Adam Gertler- appears on FN shows
Melisa D'Arabian- has a show
Aarti- had a show, still appears as a judge
Jeff Mauro- Has/had a show. Host on "The Kitchen", probably most successful behind Guy. Also is the Sandwich King
Justin Warner- never got a show, but appears randomly on FN
Damaris- ugh
Lenny McNab- won season 10 and has disappeared bc of blog comments

Not all of those included were winners of their seasons.

That's a better track record than winners of The Voice.

No... but they filmed three different endings, so he doesn't even know after the top 3.

He has not told me the top 3.

I also have no idea how the Star Salvation comes into play. I could see Rue coming back and making the top 3 when it's all said and done. I think the judges made a mistake with her.
