I think NOLA needs it's own area. Coquette's time has come!

Thanks. Busy day at the office and may have missed some. Especially non-NOLA.

Shaya is never going to have a free reservation ever again. As it is, you have to book a month in advance for dinner.

Or walk in after 8:30.

Almost any time you can walk in and sit at the bar with 2 people.

Yeah, I don't want to sit at the bar if I'm at a nice place. Defeats the purpose for me.

It's not a formal place. Food is top rate, but it's not "full service".

Missing out. I rather sit at the bar at most places than the table.

Better service overall, especially when it comes to drinks.

Shaya is one of the best places for a party of two to sit at the bar. Much of the food is dippable and shareable without squabbling over who gets the second to last gnocchi. Plus easy access to bartender's attention for more pita or a second drink. Its the way to go

I've eaten there at the bar twice. Just not a fan.

Outside is the best spot there. Perfect for being loud and obnoxious.

Just hope the place doesn't get robbed. The police station is halfway across town.

Great list. No surprise to see Gulotta on there.

Does Shaya have a shot? Would be quite an honor.

Agreed.

Anyone surprised to see Brigtsen's under Best Service? I enjoy the place, but I've never thought the service was memorable.

I doubt it since Peche won the award 2 years ago. It certainly would be deserving IMO.

I've never made a reservation, typically just walk in on week days.
