Ruffino's baton rouge. After several mediocre dishes at premium prices and consistently rude waitstaff, I have no plans of ruining a future evening there ever again.

I paid the balance of the bill as a tip to the waitress and left.

You paid for the wings or everything else but the wings? I would have laughed at her if she tried to force me to pay for the wings.

I'm not going to Beausoleil anymore after 3 attempts and 3 bad meals.

One place that I am very sad about is La Caretta in Houma, which is very close to my house and is a great hangout, but the food blows. Another place I was excited about was this place called Mommie's - supposed to be lebanese. The worst I've ever had. I will not set foot in that place again. I called them and told them how terrible it was

wtf is wrong with you? both these places are good. mommies is in a freaking gas station
la caretta is pretty pricey, though.
la casa on the east side > any messican food in Houma

+1 boud, these guys suck. Horrible QC issues. Every bottle I've ever got was infected. What are the odds? Oh look a new waxed beer this month. It's jalapeño jelly bacon vanilla coffee pumpkin bananas foster Lenin's sunset. They can't get one beer right. "Oh, it was the red waxed bottles that were infected, not the yellow". Worst brewery in town.

Hmmm... I only get their beers on occasion when I'm in town, but have never had an issue with anything they make.

carrabba's italian grill- went for lunch and the food was not near as good as it should have been for the price.

The little Palio's close to my house is twice as good and about half the price.

I will go to Carrabba's for events or if someone else is buying but it would be my last choice for italian if I am buying.

I would rather get a Stouffer's frozen lasagne at the grocery store than go there again.

I thought I may see you respond. To be honest, the only non infected bottles I've had were the ones you brought to the share. What are the odds? I had someone offer to buy my ticket to their anniversary party recently but declined. They told me it was a dud and the beers were lacking, and they're huge BB fans.

I used to love Cafe Maspero. Went once after it was taken over by Creole Concepts, and won't ever be back.
