Need to know whats installed and with what licenses
Are you internal or external? If internal, you need to utilize or purchase a good management system to do so (Spiceworks, ManageEngine, Solarwinds, etc). If external, get the IT guy to pull a report for you. When they...

re: First look at Sharon Weston Broome's proposed roads tax - TigerRob20
I am still waiting on the Bus Stop Shelters that CATS promised with their last property tax increase they received.
I've seen a lot of those going up around town. They aren't the nicest shelters I've ever seen, but a whole lot better than a random sign stuck in 3' high grass. ...

re: Adding children to a credit card account - TigerRob20
Here's a question. Should I add my toddler to an account without an extra fee for a card? Seems like it would just help her credit history when she turns 18. Edit: That was easy, she has an Amex Blue Cash coming her way....

Are you talking about a vulnerability scan or something different? I've used Nessus and Nexpose in the past for entire networks, and they regularly pull up vulnerabilities or outdated software on Macs. ...

re: First look at Sharon Weston Broome's proposed roads tax - TigerRob20
Like someone said earlier, a huge problem are the people trying to beat a light and get stuck in the intersection.
I hate to say this, but you know what solves this problem? Red light cameras  They need southbound facing ones at every Perkins intersection. ...
what can be done about college dr?
At one time they mentioned trying to do something like this. (probably 5 years ago, haven't heard anything about it since). [link=(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD-0QnUlLOQ)]Diverging Diamond Interchange[/link] I thought at the time how ...

re: First look at Sharon Weston Broome's proposed roads tax - TigerRob20
I'm pretty sure it's going to be two lanes and a center turn lane. Right-of-way will be taken from both sides to do that.
This is what really needs to happen. we really don't want it turning into the atrocity that is the new Staring Lane. The number of one way/do not enter si...

re: How many glasses from the Bulldog get you a tshirt? - TigerRob20
When the BR one first opened, they had awesome glasses. Really great designs and some sponsored stuff too (like i have one with the Jazz Fest logo on it). It seems they really dropped off in quality, with dumb sayings or jokes, etc. I returned a lot of those and got what I considered a pretty sh...

re: BR Grocery: Rouses - TigerRob20
I've been following this thread for a few days. I have to agree with some of the other posters that it seems the Rouses that were purchased from other companies are the main culprit behind providing bad experiences. I can only hope they are trying to sell themselves to Publix at some point. It's rea...

re: BR traffic today was an assraping. When will it be time? - TigerRob20
The Greenlight 2 tax had widespread support in midcity and south Baton Rouge, along with a handful of precincts in north Baton Rouge within the city limits. However, voters in the northern part of the parish overwhelmingly rejected the 2016 roads tax plan, although they supported Broome. Vote...

re: oyster knife recommendations - TigerRob20
dexter russell
Buy two of them. Because you'll want a friend to help shuck. In fact, I buy a lot of their knives (victorinox too) for general kitchen use. They are cheap and sharp. I never really bought into the fancy $400-$500 knife blocks when every commercial ki...

re: Which car should I sell? - TigerRob20
Thanks for the responses. You have definitely made me feel better about keeping the 4runner. I was pleasantly surprised at how much it is still worth, and very surprised that the Accord wasn't worth more (especially with the average of 6500 miles a year!)...

re: Sell or Continue to Rent House? - BR - TigerRob20
I would keep it and look for better tenants. Check out Rentalutions.com. I used it for my property this year and it worked great. It charges potential tenants a fee for a credit check and you get to see the results. It will also list your property on the big rental listing sites. They can provid...

re: Outdoor TV sound to Sonos connect amp - TigerRob20
I started with a similar setup. I wanted to use a Fire Stick and Uverse box on my outdoor TV with a Sonos Connect Amp. I connected both devices to the TV via HDMI, and then had a Optical Audio cable from the TV audio out into the Sonos Connect AMP (by way of a converter to RCA in I believe). It work...

re: Vote on moving Baton Rouge Zoo, expanding Greenwood Park expected Today - TigerRob20
I saw a post on either Facebook or Instagram that suggested moving the zoo to the old warehouses/empty land north of the capitol. Revitalizing that area would be ah huge game changer for downtown, and provide a northern termination for any future street car. It fits all of the needs of what BREC wan...
