On a biscuit is nice, but my preferred way is homemade, still slightly warm, before the gelatin has set, scooped into the torn off nose of a fresh loaf of French bread. Or you can microwave a cold slice, but it's not as nice as when it's fresh and hot/warm.

I like mine while sitting on my couch and watching football. Keebler makes a jalapeño cornbread cracker I found once. Makes an awesome vessel for some head cheese.

I like to throw a slab on a piping hot biscuit just out of the oven

I once made a sandwich with a slice of heated hogs head cheese and a fried egg. That was good

Like a good pork roast cooked down with lots of seasoning and gelatenous goodness. I much prefer it to come to room temperature before I eat it. I don't like it as muchice cold.

I couldn't control my curiosity, so I drove to Leblanc's and got a half pound of Manda HHC from the deli. I loved it, I might just eat the whole mess of it with french bread for my dinner.

Anybody ever make breakfast sandwiches with it?

Also, anywhere in Gonzales or Prairieville areas where I can get real (not Manda) HHC?

Jerry Lee's in Baton Rouge is about the best you will find anywhere.

And yes while on a saltine is the norm

Over grits or on a slice of bread with an egg is always good as well.
