I got some today and went ahead and got some ritz. But I figure there has to be more to hog's head cheese than this. How do you like to eat it? Any other creative uses? Warm? Cold? TIA.

Seasoned only with sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper. Medium rare cooked sous vide style.

I guess I'm the only one that likes Hogs head coming to room temp before I put it on a saltine, then hit it with a shot of crystal.

So I got ready to have my later night snack and ... it's pure crap. ;alsdkjfa;sldkfja;sdlkfja;.

This is what I bought:

I missed the "sliced" part when I bought it, but in no way did I expect to be buying 95% bologna with 5% hogs head cheese flavoring. Took one bite and fed the rest to my dogs and felt sorry for them for doing it. I'm obviously an idiot, but I feel screwed on this one. This stuff was not in the lunch meat section either, it was just the "B" brand next to the other hogs head cheese, and I thought I would give something different a try. I hope your night is better than mine.

I happen to make my own head cheese, thank you very much. I stand by my comment.

Slice it about 1/4" thick into a 2" square.

Cook some homemade drop biscuits or have your wife do it.

Slice a hot a biscuit and put a slice of hog head cheese in it..... Enjoy

On a cracker with a little dab of mustard. Not all head cheese is created equal.
