Dare I ask? Where to get catered BarB-Que in Baton Rouge area?

Got about 20 folks coming over for the fourth day of July. Most are from north LA, and the tradition is barbeeque.
They usually cook have a hog. Well, I don't have the facilities to cook half a hog... as I live in a "normal" subdivision and have never built one of the nifty brick grill/oven things, with that cool expanded iron grate.
They're cool with catering out some bbq. I told them that I'd work on that, and worse case I'd get us some killer jambalaya.
I'm no chef, and would consider cooking something for 20 people on their special day pretty damn risky.
I know the FDB is full of wisdom. Suggestions????

Just BBQ some chicken, pork finger and sausage. If you can't do that you probably shouldn't even be celebrating the 4th.

Couyons port Allen is your only bet

I didn't realize pigs had fingers, but I bet theyre darn good.
Grilling something IS an option, but buying something is an option that I like better if the food is good.
I'm listening...

Call The Francis in St Francisville. They will get you square

Smokin Aces on Government or Firehouse in Watson. Those are the only two places that people outside of this state would call BBQ. The rest is just badly cooked meat with terrible sauces.

Deep South Barbeque on Plank near Airline

If you want catering, I would talk to the following places:
Smokin' Aces on Government Street (though I have heard rumors that I am yet to test regarding a recent drop in quality)
Couyans (they have easily the best brisket and arguably the best ribs, but their sauce is terrible)

Deep South BBQ on Plank near Airline does damn good BBQ and they do catering. You can do much worse than them.

Jambo came through for another poster and can probably cover your needs.
Smokin Aces bbq is his gig, but he does all sorts of catering.

I think Jambo has come through for several posters here. I suggest calling him.

I can't speak for Jambo's BBQ but he came through for me with jambalaya last week and it was a hit.
