re: The pretenders - who do you have? - brodeo
The only proven good team in this conference is Alabama. Ole Miss, LSU, Florida, Arkansas, and Tennessee all look pretty decent, but have yet to really prove their mettle. A&M looks like a fraud to me, as does Georgia and Mizzou. Auburn, Miss State, Vandy, South Carolina, and Kentucky all l...

re: Why I stay 'til the end - brodeo
As do I. I haven't left early in nearly 10 years, and that was because I was sick for the entire first half in the bathroom AND it was a blowout AND it was 1 million degrees outside AND it was a f$&king 11:00am game...

re: Are other schools having the same problem keeping fans in the seats? - brodeo
Yes, I do want dedicated 4 lane feeders to all major highways (Dalrymple, Nicholson, Lee, LSU Avenue) just as they were all supposed to be widened like 20 years ago! That's way cheaper than a loop....

re: Are other schools having the same problem keeping fans in the seats? - brodeo
Those same roads are a complete shitshow every other day of the year, not just gameday. Nicholson at Brightside finally got a left turn arrow last year. It had been "in the works" for 40 years. They've been "planning to" widen Nicholson from burbank to Brightside for 30 years with still no sta...

re: Wisconsin has a rough slate ahead. 3 top 10 teams in a row - brodeo
Wisconsin has 5 more tough games this year: Michigan State Michigan Ohio State Iowa Nebraska I think the Badgers lose to Michigan State and Ohio State, but win the rest to finish 2nd in their division at 9-3...

re: Arm the Kurds...enough of this talking point - brodeo
I say arm nobody and let them kill each other to their heart's content. We don't need their oil, Europe does, Russia does, and China does. If they want it, they can use their own money and lives to secure it....

re: NSFW: 20 questions women think about when knocking boots - brodeo
1.When you’re getting head and you reach down to touch your balls, what are you trying to convey? Do you want us to touch them? Is it something you enjoy doing on your own? Use your words, please. Even a grunt would be appreciated.
I honestly have no idea. Mine are kinda ticklish,...

What makes men happy. Is it really this simple? - brodeo
Food Sex Sleep I theorize that providing any man with these three things will make him pretty damn happy. For women, it's a much shorter list: Ownership of things other women want. Now, those things change and vary with time, but the basic tenet remains the same. What say ye?...

Why did ISIS attack the Bataclan? Because they refused to book their favorite band, Daesh Rip Rock. Just kidding. This is a serious threat we face here as a civilization. My prayers go out to the people of Paris tonight....

re: Farm worker shortages reduce produce production by $3.1 billion a year - brodeo
It isn't like we can just wipe it out and still survive.
Well, here's what will happen: To avoid high labor prices, agricultural work will move to areas with cheaper labor to keep prices constant. OR Prices for food will rise as farms go out of business, causing a shortage....

re: Farm worker shortages reduce produce production by $3.1 billion a year - brodeo
Well then, it sounds like you have an unsustainable business model that is only profitable off the backs of illegal seasonal labor. That means you need to either innovate to find a solution whereby you can get greater productivity out of fewer workers (allowing you to pay more per worker and not ha...

re: Jimmy Carter reveals he has cancer in liver and "other parts" of his body - brodeo
There are few former politicians that I respect. There are even fewer that I legitimately think are great people. Jimmy Carter is an exceptionable human being, and I legitimately believe that he will go to Heaven, unlike nearly every other politician in history. While his tenure as president was ...

re: Farm worker shortages reduce produce production by $3.1 billion a year - brodeo
Sounds like if you payed more than they were making in Welfare benefits, they would work for you instead. The issue is both on the pay side and the benefits side. Right now, the benefits outweigh the pay, so people choose not to work at all rather than work those difficult jobs. If the benefits w...

re: Echelon Insights Poll - brodeo
Sorry, I meant McCain. Rasmussen polls from July-August of 2007 had Huckabee at 3%. He almost won the nomination. Santorum was at (or around) 1% at this time in 2011 and came in second. We're a long way from the Republican Convention. Anything can happen....
