re: Warehouse Rental for a couple boats in BR? - Grassy1
Thanks Wilson, your place is no doubt nicer than 2 storage units, but the price is a little more also. Capt ST... I'll look into that....

re: Boat storage in Baton Rouge area - Grassy1
A lot more storage unit facilities have units large enough for boats than you would think. Just look at the ones close to where you want them to be... probably the worse the area they're in, the less expensive. I rent a 12x30 at a pretty nice one for $213/month....

re: Warehouse Rental for a couple boats in BR? - Grassy1
 Maybe so... but I like working on/tweaking my boat, so having it close by makes me happy. But yea, ideal would be Prairieville/Gonzales/Industriplex etc. Currently have one bay boat in a storage bldg, that my friend may take possession of, and if that happens, I'll need a bigger one....

Warehouse Rental for a couple boats in BR? - Grassy1
Know anyone that might want to rent some warehouse space for a couple bay boats? South BR would be ideal, but open to other ideas....

re: San Fran, Chicago, Canada, or something better? - Grassy1
Yes, Teddy, pretty wide open. I'll look at Chicago a little more closely. Stumbled on a TD'ers guide to SF, and at least gave me some ideas to do there....

San Fran, Chicago, Canada, or something better? - Grassy1
Trying to figure out something fun for my wife, my 16 year old daughter, and myself... probably the second week of July. Daughter is artsy, so enjoys art museums, and "older stuff", archeology, etc. (yes, she liked Italy, NY, Greece and Turkey) Wife and I are probably most interested allowin...

re: Lunch on Sherwood? - Grassy1
Thanks for the suggestions. We went to Willie's and sat on the patio. The service was great, patio is great. I had the Smokehouse sandwich with brisket and onion rings. The rings and tea were great. Brisket was about half fat and a third gristle. Oh well. Maybe the pulled pork wouldve been...

Interesting stuff on the suit. I don't understand all the relationships. It's a nifty study on employer/employee relationship and confidentiality. ...

re: "All that matters is that video tape," says Alton Sterling family's attorney - Grassy1
If there was ANY doubt, and an inkling of evidence, Obama/Lynch would've wrapped this up months ago... Heck, he would've had Hillary campaigning on this. ...

re: Mercury Outboards - Grassy1
I think outboard preferences are regional. If you travel to different marinas, you will often times see a large contingent of either brand. I own a 2005 yamaha 4 stroke 225, and would buy another in a second. Also, from everything I've read, and personally know an outboard engine tech and l...

re: GPS Coordinates - Grassy1
GPS coordinates are expressed in two different units, which look surprisingly similar. Make sure you're entering the units correctly based on your source....
And by all accounts so far, they did nothing wrong. If they had, the Obama/Lynch DoJ would've liked nothing better than to hang them out to dry.
This is the point that is plain as day. And will not be mentioned by anyone in the media, much less by any other "community lea...

Hydraulic hoses in Baton Rouge-Gonzales? - Grassy1
I've had several made at NAPA in Gonzales, and they're very helpful, but seem kind of expensive, and a little out of my way. I've also used the place on Choctaw near the river, but also way out of my way. Any other ideas, maybe near Industriplex or Prairieville?...

re: Pool installation - Grassy1
As a pool builder in Houston, I would highly recommend avoiding salt. Salt is extremely hard on materials and will rust anything metal in your backyard. Look into a ozone/nature2 system. Will run about 1parts per million on chlorine. Easiest to maintain and best system available. I would reco...

re: Best Saltwater Spinning Reels? - Grassy1
Ok so the Stratic is highly recomened. For a 100 less the new Sahara looks and feels pretty good. Is it a good reel? Is there a real life in use difference between Sedona and Sahara? What about the jump up to a Stratic? Is that 100 dollar jump worth it?
I have 2-3 Sedonas that...
