I saw one blog that said February. But that was a few months ago. I'm guessing sometime this spring and I guess the Houston beerfest in late april would be a possibility.

Nope, Bell's is tough to come by.

They were seriously price gauging this year. 15.99 for a 6 pack.

Will be nice when they all start bottling/canning

Karbach just threw up a facebook post about testing their canning line... looks like Hopadillo, Sympathy For The Lager, and Weisse Versa Wheat will be the first ones, in early March.

Props to them for multiple selections in their first canning production.

They must plan on working that thing around the clock.

Great divide was talking about brewing 24/7 there and I saw where Lagunitas was getting help from Anchor to keep up with demand over there.

Had the Vertical Epic 11-11-11 last night. I was kind of disappointed. I loved the chili flavor to it but I just kept coming back to bubble gum. The cloves and banana taste just melded into the flavor of bubble gum.

And when St. Arnolds releases Endeavour, that will be the one to beat.

The one to beat in what regard? Locally? Nationally? I've had a couple St. Arnolds brews at my brothers in Houston and just wasn't very impressed.

On topic, I am a big fan of Bear Republic and really enjoy Racer5.

I don't like any of their stuff either. Even their Elissa IPA is pretty crappy IMO. But Endeavour will be a full time release of their Divine Reserve No.11 which was a DIPA and fantastic.

As is the case with all these guys, the biggest constraint is fermenting space. Just like us homebrewing, I only have room to have so many beers going at once. And adding more 60 barrel fermenters is not cheap... plus they take up a lot more room than a carboy.

Gotcha.

I am excited about SF Beer Week and Strong Beer Month. So many great beer events. It just so happens to coincide with my fiancee being in Vegas for her bacholerette party and me having my SF-based bachelor party.

Here are the Strong Beer Month offerings from the brewery 5 blocks from my crib. The Big Lebowski is one of my favorites that he makes for this month. It really does smell like a White Russian.

Why not just have a White Russian?

Because this beer is awesome! Smells like it, but doesn't really taste like it.

Rich Higgins, the brewer at Social, does some very interesting beers. Some I love (Big Lebowski) some I am not a huge fan of (White Thai Affair). Its great to have it 5 blocks away.

Sorry I am late to the party gentlemen, but I have been really busy at work today--I hate it when that happens. Can't wait to head home soon for FBD.

If not I'll see what I can do at Spec's for you all.

Thanks Boo. Let me know when you want to meet so I can get that Hoppy Feet. Thanks again.
