I went Sunday afternoon. Wings are as good as ever.

What does everyone feel about the indoor layout? I didn't love how narrow it is at the entrance. It's a minor gripe but just my first impression. Also, didn't love ordering food at the counter and beer at the bar. Not sure why they chose that set up. I asked to order beer at the front and was told I couldn't. I had to start two tabs. I was told by the bartender I could order beer at front so perhaps they're just working then kinks out.

Went Saturday after the fest and smashed wings and brisket. Both were just as good or better than the 2 older locations. The underside of the table could have been sanded a bit more.

Didn't like the interior layout at all. The patio is nice, but I'd rather be inside during warmer months.

Agree with you on order window & bar tab discrepancy, but I imagine that's only temporary.

I dont remember not being able to order beer at the front.

I like the layout, I like how they funnel folks who are ordering food into one area of the room. It reminded me a lot of Company Burger Freret set up. Smart design.

Is that the permanent arrangement?

Not gonna have a waiter/waitress?

They have food runners bring your food out to you.

Much more efficient and common set up for places like burger joints, sandwich places, bbq, etc...Wait staff actually slows down the overall length of a meal, which is certainly beneficial in most dining environments.

Yeah
That's cool. Maybe with the entrance being so small, they'll constantly have a #LinetoDelgado.

That must be a bbq thing. Pig and Pint in fondren is set up the same way. One advantage is that you don't have to get in the main food line to get another beer

It's like that around these parts too. One of the places really annoys me though because they have chairs along the entire bar, making it awkward to order when all of the chairs are full. If you're going to go the separate order places, at least have a walk-up spot at the bar.

That is efficent. Company Burger just started that. I went the other day and they gave me a number, that was new.

This thread made it easy to pick a new Mid-city spot. I am still lamenting the passing of BooKoo, and needed a BBQ option in Mid city.

I really enjoyed Fellini's, I was hoping they moved. Sucks to lose them and Gino's. Two of my spots on opposite sides of Carrollton.
