For my money it's Chadeaux's in Kinder with Boudin King in Jennings running a close second.

Here in Houston, the boudin balls at Big Woodrow's on LSU game nights are a good enough substitute.

There is like a 8 page thread on boudin on here somewhere. I really dont care for Boudin King though.. Never had Chadeauxs. I prefer Dons and Best Stop in Scott.

Frog City truck stop in Rayne, LA

I stumbled upon these by accident one year making a meet for work. They are the best I have ever had.

I've had Best Stop, T-Boy's, B&S, Don's, Johnson's, Ville Platte K&B, Bourque's and Ortego's all very recently.. They're all good but my favorite is either Johnson's in Lafayette or Bourque's in Port Barre.

There is a place in Watson that is pretty good too, I think they are from around kinder so maybe it is close to the Chadeauxs????

wrong. that is more or less billy's boudin who has pretty much trashed ray's old recipe. good news is that ray has opened back up on hwy 182 just south of judson walsh and has won best boudin in opelousas 3 straight years since opening back up.

I am assuming you are real drunk when you eat there because the food there would have to greatly improve to even suck.

I have tried several things there and really wanted to like it but man it is awful. Just awful.

I grabbed some from best stop today and all I can say it is hugely overrated. I mean it wasnt bad, but it is definitely not the best boudin... not even close. anyone that gets the chance to stop by rays on HWY 182 in opelousas should. its easily much better than best stop in scott.

I'm somewhat partial to the boudin Hebert's in Maurice makes. It doesn't hurt that I like most of their other products as well...

Gautreaux's in Duson has some damn good boudin. I'd say its a step above Don's and Best Stop.
