Typical steakhouse, stick to what steak houses do best and you'll be fine. I didn't think it was very good but I could have caught em on an off day. Leeann Tweeden was there when I went so it had that going for it....

re: What can I get without cable or dish tv? - 8thyearsenior
Just curious do you know it there is a way to get a recording feature separate?
There is but others will have to chime in on the best way to do that as I don't have that set up on mine. I know you can get a Tivo for it but there may be better options....

re: What can I get without cable or dish tv? - 8thyearsenior
Get an antenna and you will get abc, nbc, fox, and cbs. Sling TV will get you all the ESPNs with SEC. No clue if you can get NFL Network without cable/satellite subscription. Maybe go to a bar or friends house for the Thursday night NFL network games....

re: Hot Springs AR, Looking For Some Info.... - 8thyearsenior
My grand folks live on Lake Ouachita and it is beautiful there. I mountain biked the Lake Ouachita Vista Trail(LOViT) and it was great. A lot of lake views and creek crossings. Not any huge climbs or chunk sections so I imagine almost any skill level could do it. Park Cycles is a good bike shop to t...

re: Negotiating Employee Benefits During Hiring - 8thyearsenior
You think you have leverage as a new grad, come on man. Good luck getting them to budge on anything.
I agree with this. From my experience, new to the company hires at larger companies have better luck getting another week of vacation added as opposed to more salary. I have never h...

re: OT Engineers - school starts soon question - 8thyearsenior
It has been several years since I was in school but he needs to make friends in his engineering classes so he can get old homework and tests. Almost everyone I was in class with got an engineering degree with a minor in cheating. I honestly couldn't imagine going through all those classes without th...

re: Beer Aging/Storing - 8thyearsenior
If you are only going to keep something for 2-4 years a dark closet will probably work fine but if you are planning for decade or so you would want a humidity controlled environment. Humidity will mess with corks and caps. Light is your enemy and if doing long term storage I would think you would wa...

re: Family Trip to Denver, CO - Recommended Locations for Lodging? - 8thyearsenior
Why wouldn't you get a place in the mtns? I live here near the tech center and while I like Denver it's still just another big city, the proximity to the mtns is what makes it great. If you are gonna stay in the city then the tech center is alright since it has light rail access but so does west ...

re: 2nd USA oil wave will bankrupt OPEC (SIAP) - 8thyearsenior
Well this new report says we can breakeven at $32
There are not very many wells that can be drilled at that price point and people don't invest money in hopes of breaking even. Like others have said the price depends on a lot of things like where(what basin and the infrastructure ...

re: Denver suggestions as well as surrounding areas - 8thyearsenior
Add Masterpiece Deli to the list for great sandwiches. Prost has an awesome patio and great german beers plus Masterpiece will deliver there. Hogshead has good english style cask beers, their ESB is the best I have ever had. If you venture over to Golden, which you should, then D'Deli has good sandw...

re: Denver suggestions as well as surrounding areas - 8thyearsenior
Rent a downhill bike and ride Keystone. Also rent a XC bike and ride the trails in Breckenridge. The road to the top of Mt Evans is closed for repairs. The rivers are running high so whitewater rafting in Buena Vista would be great. What are you looking to do? Not sure what suggestions you are looki...
What happens when the kid/wife want to watch Disney Channel on 1 TV and you want to watch an NFL game on another?
Unless it is Monday night football the NFL games will be available on any TV that has an antenna so no need for Sling. I cut the cord about 4 months ago and I am...

re: Houses for auction in Detroit - 8thyearsenior
Detroit is a cool city but unless you find a way to get business there buying land won't pan out. What happened there could happen anywhere that is a one trick pony. Imagine Houston if the oil business discovered tomorrow that they were no longer needed and all those jobs were gone for good, thats w...

re: Stl Cards fans outnumber rockies' fans in colorado - 8thyearsenior
A lot of folks here are calling for a boycott until the team is sold. The owner was quoted a year or two ago as saying his goal is to make the playoffs once every five years. It's a beautiful park and I would imagine any local that is there is at the bar in center field that they removed seats to bu...
