BR area???
Jerry Lee and Bergeron's is good.

I have had good and bad at Don's and Best stop. They have both gotten so busy from I-10 They are making in big bulk and not consistent.

I don't like Best Stop's boudin. Somehow, they do excellent boudin balls, but boudin is meh, IMO.

Forgot about Bergeron's. Are they the same as the Bergeron's around Lafourche?

Still say pound for pound, you want good boudin...the Lafayette-Scott-Opelousas triangle is by far the best.

No love for T-Boy's? I've been pretty impressed with them lately.

This. Massive fail on the part of this board. Bar none, the best boudin in LA.

Freakin' amateurs.

Baton Rouge:
Ronney's is hands down the best. Jerry Lee's is very good as well, but their hogs head cheese is the real prize. The hhc from Jerry Lee's is the best I've ever had. Bergeron's in Port Allen is incredible for their onion and bacon stuffed grilled and smoked chicken patties, pork tasso, chicken wings, and pistolettes.

Lafayette:
I haven't gotten to try too many places but Boudin Shop in Henderson and Poche's are both legit.

Their andouille is my personal favorite. Sweet and smokey.. best of both worlds.

Johnson's pulled pork sandwich is among the best pulled pork I've had.

Try their "tech-no", it's a pulled rib meat sandwich. Not on the menu, but it's delicious.

Baton Rouge has crap for boudin.

Ronnies would compete with all the names mentioned in the Laffy area but would be middle of the pack with reg boudin. The boudin balls and smoked boudin are better imo. They do a good job with cracklin as well.

I find best stop terribly overrated. nothing but grease and red pepper.

original rays boudin in opelousas is my favorite, t-boys is also very good, and I love billys boudin balls.
